Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

@f1redfive Hi Alex. Are all your Freeview channels off? I put Ch4 on 2.10pm to watch Countdown 🕛 & every channel No Signal ! so, tried switching TV off & on mains.. No Signal. Then got Freeview pocket TV out.. No Signal ! Luckily old Sky box in bedroom still shows free channels

Due to a fire at the Bilsdale transmitter, our local North Yorkshire DAB multiplex will have reduced coverage. The incident has affected all services from the transmitter including Freeview, local FM and national/local DAB.

@WendyM53 @Freeview Hi, Due to unforeseen circumstances the Bilsdale transmitter is currently not transmitting due to a large fire. The emergency services are onsite and once cleared the engineers will access the transmitter to resolve the issue. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Well ****. The Bilsdale TV transmitter that serves the North Yorkshire region is currently on fire. So that means no Freeview telly until the problem is sorted out.

Over 3 hrs I've spent trying to figure out why the Freeview side of my BT box lost all the channels with no signal. Stripped wires removed plugs...checked other TVs ...only to finally find out the local transmitter is on 🔥.. not happy.....bedtime.....😠😠

@itvcalendar @ITV Wow! TV transmitters don't usually catch fire. The structure is metal, so it will be the equipment at the foot of the mast that's will be the problem. It will mean no Freeview for the area it serves.
