@Virgin how do I go about leaving Virgin because I'm paying roughly £63.50 a month for a phone that I never use only to ring you up when there's a problem.. most of my viewing is on Freeview now and I have Amazon HD fire stick and Netflix account

  • Putneyman Dave M (@Putneyman) reported from London, England

Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

@BruceDevlin @EamonnHolmes @WeAreSTV The plus one service has saved me missing so much. Check on freeview 34. Not sure what the number is on sky or Virgin.

  • garyscott8383 Gary Scott (@garyscott8383) reported

@Lakeuk @timfarron The BBC adminiser the Freeview network as part of the TV license and that includes the infrastructure

  • Shakacarnage Gareth Williams (@Shakacarnage) reported

@woblis Terrible long term customer outlook. If I left for a month and came back, I'd get it for £50 a month. I think we'll go Freeview, like you say, in case we miss something, but I think the last two years has seen a huge change from live to streaming in our household.

  • ukdtt UK Terrestrial TV (@ukdtt) reported

Channel 23, BBC THREE, has been added to PSB1 (East W) (was unlisted [Service 0x10c0]) #Freeview

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

@duffaSteve Most 5G is far away from Freeview frequencies. But band 28 (700MHz) is starting to be used by O2, 3 and EE, using frequencies either side of those used by COM7. Cellmapper is a useful app showing you which bands are in use by your mobile network in the area.

  • Stephowd Stephanie Howard (@Stephowd) reported

@LordFrodsham @HackedOffHugh A surprising number of people in this discussion don’t seen to be aware that the license fee doesn’t just cover the BBC but 70 Freeview channels & all radio. Anyone who doesn’t want to pay the fee can disconnect their TV, watch Sky Sport down the pub and Netflix on their computer

  • PCarmichaelVO Paul Carmichael (@PCarmichaelVO) reported

@d0hertyry4n @TomRafferty4 Yes, sure. Because you’re incapable of answering anything on the subject. You’re not coming at it from a position of knowledge. I mean everyone in the industry acknowledges the Freeview problem doesn’t have a solution. That’s a given. Or can you solve what the experts can’t?

  • RonanCollins29 DjRonanC #RestoreTheSnyderVerse #ReleaseTheAyerCut (@RonanCollins29) reported

@SAORVIEW Not many channels, it be great if you added music, more entertainment and movie channels to your service we are living in 2022 and the UK has over 85 Freeview and Ireland has 11 channels. What's the point of paying for a TV licence.

  • PeterTWolf1 Matt Meerkat (@PeterTWolf1) reported

@rugrats1991 @YuseiFudoGam3r @HudsonHatley I never had the Nickelodeon channel because my dad wouldn't pay for sky, we only had freeview so only channels like CBBC, CITV and Pop. Non of the fancies like Nick or Cartoon N'work.

  • blogmywiki Giles Booth (@blogmywiki) reported

I think the Freeview MUXes are trolling me. I can now get BBC Three in HD, but can't receive BBC Four HD at all. (I know why this is, I'm just not prepared to 'do a Rod Hull' to fix my aerial.)
