@matt02392 Virgin Media doesn't have a network in the Channel Islands. Here, ITV offers audio description via Freeview and satellite. ITV Border Scotland offers AD on SD, as there's no HD version of that channel.

@Page_888 @russty_russ The rebrand made sense, but the channel only airing at that time of the day on Freeview didn't. It was never going to be able to compete with the BBC and Sky, so I'm surprised that ITV's news channel managed to last 5 years on the air.

@wilburswormhole @ABCTV @abcnews I'm watching via Freeview, I normally watch via iView. I've just tried to watch something else on iView and its not working, so that's the problem.

@PhilJonesy3 @MetroUK It's SD on Freeview which doesn't help but not at all good even for SD.

Bear in mind that the original Freeview (UK) group was launched back in 2002 so Channel 5 is only 20 or so years late Must have been all of that Public Service stuff they were organising which meant they couldn't join the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky 16/

And talk about being late to the party in December 2021 it was announced that Channel 5 had joined the organisation responsible for Freeview and Freesat, Digital UK, becoming the last of the UK's major Public Service Broadcasters to join the body 15/

@its_milaB @Suzyiam I can recommend this. Got rid of vodafone tv and replaced it with Smart VU. Connects via wifi to your network, simple to set up and simple to use. Retails for less than $120. Has all the streaming apps and a great freeview app.

Double standards in this house, she's sat with candles lit, drinking gin, watching basically porn dressed up as a love story on Netflix, never said a word. I got caught watching the television X Freeview years back and she called me a fat ***** #365daysThisDay

@scottiepark45 @BBCSportScot I agree, I'd much rather it was freeview, but 2 things: 1)It isn't the SFA that sold the rights it was UEFA, so not much could be done about it 2)There have been 'positive' talks about free to air games, which never happened with Sky Hopefully it ends up being better for the fans
