@FreeviewAdvice hi there. Please see DMs sent to Freeview account asking for support with channels that don't show (weird D sign with \ on it next to them) including Sky News, Pick and others. Many thanks

Philip McHale (@PhilMcBoobs) reported from Barnet, England

@jonnyt78 Not at all. Was supposed to be awful except from some certain sections of the media. Some of the games were of freeview over here as well, I didn’t have a clue

  • Dante_Banks
Danté Banks (@Dante_Banks) reported from Tottenham, England

@tinytwink The poor shouldn't have anything they have to work for. Big screen TV - nope. Netflix - what's wrong with Freeview? Mobile phone - can't they walk to the phone box on the corner that was disconnected five years ago. They think if you're poor you should suffer or not be poor.

  • Stroudgreenguy
    J. Alfred Prufrock (@Stroudgreenguy) reported from Tottenham, England

@Channel4 Hello. Can I watch Channel 4 *live* through the All 4 app on smart TV? All I see is catchup. I would like to watch CH 4 news every night but my aerial is broken, no Freeview. Please advise.

@cmairsy @virginmedia Zen for internet - rock solid and great customer service, not that you’ll need it. But after ditching Virgin we went down the freeview route, I’m afraid.

@ATRightMovies Probably some mundane **** on Freeview.

@Davidj0hnson123 Liquidity is well down on Betfair. never seen it so bad. Needs to be on a Freeview TV channel

Anyone else trying to watch Freeview Channel 7 (That's TV) and it's gone on a wonk? Was fine before the program started, is it an old recording and broken? @ThatsTVOfficial

  • ria_747
    Michael Clarkson (@ria_747) reported

@Stephencheatley @virginmedia Just get freeview or freesat, Stephen. I’ve got Virgin media broadband and to be fair I’ve never had any problems.

  • NotThatTomGreen
    “Tom”. (@NotThatTomGreen) reported

Turned some old TNA on one of the freeview services while doing laundry. He was clearly going through some **** away from the ring and the storyline was awful, but Brian Christopher literally crying for weeks because Sean Waltman kissed his girlfriend is some great ****.

  • jump_drive_flyr
    Andy (@jump_drive_flyr) reported

@drewwagar A show I've never seen mostly due to not being signed up with any streaming services, I'm patient it'll come onto Freeview at some point like the others in time.

  • flincauk
    Philip Wattis (@flincauk) reported

@RichardWellings Replace the BBC with a subscription based streaming service - not dissimilar to IPlayer, and they can use their Freeview channels to promote and advertise the subscription service.

  • TheSilverCloak
    The Silver Cloak (@TheSilverCloak) reported

@jaygrocott29 @DoctorWhoPN Wrong. The public service broadcasters are all gifted their spectrum and their advantageous position on the Freeview EPG. Road tax was abolished in 1937. Road building and maintenance is paid by general taxation. Revenue from VED just goes into the chancellor’s pot.

  • LeVoyeur72
    Voyeur (@LeVoyeur72) reported

@the_saffman @TheDoctorMagic @AlanJLSmith Not any more. However, BBC World Service is available in the UK on Freeview, so it's not as if you're paying for something you can't listen to, unlike when it was funded through taxation. Plus cable and satellite operators abroad also pay to carry it.
