@AlStewartOBE @JoeBiden @WhiteHouse Given the Conauguration a swerve too, watching a 1957 Movie 'The Key Man' on Freeview right now, no particular reason, it was just the next Channel down on the Remote..

@nmsonline @lukejones03 my main issue is non presence of CNN on freeview so i have to throw my laptop to TV. This can be… buggy

@BBCDanielS My 88 year old father in law with partial sight and poor hearing has just been forced to pay the BBC licence fee even though he only uses the TV to watch old movies on non BBC Freeview channels. He says " what is Netflix?"

  • Jenepel Jenn. Hersey (@Jenepel) reported

@akaHarriet Oh wow! So there isn’t like freeview or terrestrial TV? I’ve never had cable, but I’ve always had the basic channels. I don’t know much about the US system I guess.

  • Kagey_infohub Kate Gordon (@Kagey_infohub) reported

Pulled the plug on Virginmedia, new internet service not being installed til Thurs. Got jumpy freeview+ mobile data that I'll need to use sparingly. Biggest fear is I'll lose track of time and forget next Zoom mtgs 🕳

@3011corralejo @Pippisell There’s a problem with that. My aerial doesn’t work, so the only freeview channels I get are what comes through the internet. Plus I get Amazon Prime, Disney plus and Netflix. Ive been meaning to sort the aerial , but I get 30 channels of crap, so feel it’s enough !

@GBNews24_7 I hope this gets noticed. I was really looking forward to watching GB News but there are hurdles! Where I live, Freeview has 16 channels, Virgin Media are miles away and I'll never subscribe to Sky. I do have Freesat though. Any chance of launching on that platform?

  • cjfm7 carl john (@cjfm7) reported

Ive never known anyone who has bought anything after seeing a TV advert or any kind of advert all they do is annoy people, Freeview is a cheap advertising platform & a tax fiddle that is it, it certainly isnt for people who want watch something entertaining on TV

  • PaulVO1975 Paul Gorsedale (@PaulVO1975) reported

@MarkM1177 @HopkinsBRFC @BBCDanielS Do Netflix: Provide programming specifically for the disabled? Provide programmes in Welsh and Gaelic? Provide resources to every school and college in the UK? Maintain the transmitters in which Freeview (the most popular way for the elderly & poor to access TV) broadcast?

  • retguru Retail Guru (@retguru) reported

@virginmedia Still issues. Brand new box. Still can't watch catch up or Netflix without it constantly crashing. Even normal tv picture pixalating all the time. Never have any issues with freeview in bedroom so what's the point of having Virgin?
