@scottiepark45 @BBCSportScot I agree, I'd much rather it was freeview, but 2 things: 1)It isn't the SFA that sold the rights it was UEFA, so not much could be done about it 2)There have been 'positive' talks about free to air games, which never happened with Sky Hopefully it ends up being better for the fans

@virginmedia is there a way to negotiate a new contract without being on the phone for 2 hours+? Raising my bill from £45 to £66 automatically when the contract ends is absolutely disgusting for what I receive. Internet that goes down and paying for the same channels as freeview?

  • WellyGeeNZ Gary Weatherhead 💉x3 (@WellyGeeNZ) reported

@Suzyiam If you have a modern-ish ‘Freeview’ aerial on your roof then you can get NZ’s free to air Freeview service. 26 TV channels and 2 radio stations (other parts of NZ it may vary, that’s here in Kāpiti). I have a 6yr old TV which gets Freeview fine, plus I use Netflix & Disney apps

  • FurbyRach Rachel Furber (@FurbyRach) reported

@piersmorgan @PiersUncensored My TV is rubbish.. I tried searching for your show, i can't afford sky etc & freeview doesn't work (no aeriel) ive a now tv stick which doesn'tcover your show.. only option was YouTube & I only got snippets.. frustrating!

  • rxtv_info RXTV Info (@rxtv_info) reported

@matt02392 Virgin Media doesn't have a network in the Channel Islands. Here, ITV offers audio description via Freeview and satellite. ITV Border Scotland offers AD on SD, as there's no HD version of that channel.

  • Brazenvamp Hannah #reclaimthestreets (@Brazenvamp) reported

@BootstrapCook @_SarahAlice_ Can you drill through the floor and feed it through? Anyway I used to use a smart TV to watch freeview with no issues x

  • viridispicus _insert witticism here_ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@viridispicus) reported

@BootstrapCook It depends on signal strength, direction to transmitter, and what's in the way. Digital signals (such as Freeview) are broadly binary: the TV understands enough, you have a picture - or nothing. Amplifiers exist, but they amplify noise as much as signal, so beware promises.

  • leckston Heather (@leckston) reported

@petemorristwit Simples- the @BBC should be on Freeview or a subscription service. They've screwed the British public for too long.😡

  • EstelleBisset Estelle Bisset (@EstelleBisset) reported

@jayrayner1 There are that many choices of chanels today that even with just freeview there are loads of alternatives so don't see the problem🤔

  • Brekkietweets Brekkie 🇺🇦 (@Brekkietweets) reported

@putthetellyon And on top of that HD channels are actually closing down on Freeview. The picture quality of low bit-rate SD channels is increasingly an issue in a world where people have bigger TV and HD streaming services as the norm.
