Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Dr Jake Taylor (@AstroJake) reportedGoing to my friends house who had Sky and I had channels 1-5. I was like damn my friends are rich! Freeview changed my life.
-
Andy (@jump_drive_flyr) reported@drewwagar A show I've never seen mostly due to not being signed up with any streaming services, I'm patient it'll come onto Freeview at some point like the others in time.
-
Ali-Pan (@alison_pannell) reported@Jenny_1884 @whinestop I believe the BBC needs to change it's funding model - preferably to a subscription service as using advertising would have negative effects on current Freeview channels. I would like to see a system similar to Sky so you could choose your subscription level.
-
casey (@tinyrowlet) reported@DamonJMorris yes! i'm with freeview and i had to put it on the channel 4 app on my tv via wifi and it's working fine there. must be a satellite problem on their end
-
Mart Smith (@Mart_Smith) reported@InfiniRunner @thesimpsonRFC Football commentary is never online, as it says, due to licensing restrictions. Only radio or freeview for free, or paid something's through the clubs follow/in house media.
-
Neil (@darthmorley) reportedEnjoyed the seniors snooker, congrats to Ronnie O'Sullivan. Love the great Cliff Thorburn's way of saying snooker - "snucker"! Although Channel 5 shouldn't keep switching to 5 Action as the picture quality on Freeview is terrible!!
-
Lauren Thompson (@lauren_tho4607) reported@OborneTweets It should never have been allowed on @Freeview If I have to stream Al Jazeera English, then Reform voters should have to stream GB News' bile.
-
Kier Jong Un (@StickToFact) reported@loobylambchop @GBNEWS Then you’ll have no TV at all. All other TV services, freeview, Sky or Virgin need a licence as they broadcast live TV. Amazon Prime doesn’t, it would only do that if you installed and used the iPlayer app, which also requires a separate login.

“Tom”. (@NotThatTomGreen) reportedTurned some old TNA on one of the freeview services while doing laundry. He was clearly going through some **** away from the ring and the storyline was awful, but Brian Christopher literally crying for weeks because Sean Waltman kissed his girlfriend is some great ****.

Harvey Wood (@HarveyWoodphoto) reported@LGUKCare Hi. You need to address why the FreeSat guide on your TV's takes up to 30sec to load and populate. Doesn't happen on Freeview which I have upstairs. Your (all too frequent) updates could fix this easily but you dont. 10K of TV RAM mem could sort this annoying nonsense.
