@ReeceShearsmith Channel 68 on Freeview. Never seen this film, will give it a go!

  • jdwigglesworth Daniel Wigglesworth (@jdwigglesworth) reported

Freeview channel 53 crashed the smart tv. Google said unplug, and then said reflow the motherboard in oven 🔥. Managed to solve it by pressing lots of buttons all at once whilst holding down the power button onto AV menu🍺

  • DefundBBC Defund The BBC (@DefundBBC) reported

Ministers are now using slow ultrafibre broadband rollout as reason to keep the licence fee until 2038! Rubbish! Without the live TV tax people could watch freeview. Meanwhile, it's on the rest of us to switch to on-demand and #DefundTheBBC by legally cancelling our TV licences.

  • Stop_The_Panic 🔮Worthless_Human🔮 (@Stop_The_Panic) reported

@destryagain I think I’ll cancel it once and for all. Keep the rubbish broadband but cancel all our channels and stick to freeview. They’ve always lured me in with discounts but sneak in double charges later down the line.

  • LGUK LG UK (@LGUK) reported

@Hamnett_Time ... to strive to support all UK catch-up services as soon as possible. Freeview Play will be on our 2021 models, which are launching over the next month or so :) (3/3)

  • geeemac George M (@geeemac) reported

@PhilipsCare_UK hello. All freeview channels and apps (iplayer 4od etc) on my 55PUS7304 have completely stopped working. Happened when we upgraded to fibre broadband..? Please help!

  • Vinlandmapinfo David Bradbury (@Vinlandmapinfo) reported

@ruzzfeed @back_the_BBC Not such a chasm as it appears. The government wants to run down the Freeview system and prioritise streaming, with help from the BBC & ITV, but current broadband can't cope with 10 million people watching an England World Cup match at the same time.

  • darkbreed Ben Reed (@darkbreed) reported

@ArghZombies We did that about 12 months ago and have not missed anything. We have freeview but have never used it. Ailey exist on Netflix, Prime and my Plex library. Plus we’re £100 a month better off.

  • stephen_parish Stephen Parish (@stephen_parish) reported

@BBCNewsEnts Why not do things the other way around? Give Netflix a broadcast platform on Freeview and a Sky Digital subscription channel? This would help to fund traditional terrestrial and satellite broadcasting.

  • Bplwcml ♿ Mike (@Bplwcml) reported

@bt_uk Well good news and bad, the good news is the guide is back on, the bad news I've only got my internet channels 340 onwards working, so I think it's a local Freeview issue with the terrestrial channels
