@TalkingPicsTV @grannypatt It's not you, it's living in certain areas watching Freeview is a lottery. With me it's also the BBC channels that come up no signal due to certain atmospheric conditions? Who knows? Last year a TV engineer came & adjusted the communal aerial on the roof. Briefly helped now not😔

  • pauljholden PJ Holden (@pauljholden) reported

in the end dropped the landline (haven't used it in years) and dropped the tv package (we're watching everything either online or catchup or on freeview - which, weirdly, in HD seems to be a better quality). Knocks from 56 (+4 increase) down to £46 (and no increase)

  • Nick_Payne Nick Payne (@Nick_Payne) reported

Anybody else in the midlands just lost Freeview? @FreeviewTV is there a transmitter down?

  • Mark56623345 mark Hughes (@Mark56623345) reported

@BenJohn45874515 Freeview is a very patchy service, and what you get very much depends on where you live, if you live near a relay for example you only get around 20 channels, if its a transmitter you get around 70, or half what you get off freesat or the free channels on sky.

@grannypatt @TalkingPicsTV I've been having problems with freeview lately so this might explain the situation,i am in the London area.

  • botvolution Botvolution (@botvolution) reported

Because I don't have sky or Netflix or prime or any of that **** I'm always about 5 years behind hype TV shows and then only the ones that eventually turn up on Freeview. It's quite restful in a way, I don't get drawn into endless twitter ingroup references. Lovely.
