@scottiepark45 @BBCSportScot I agree, I'd much rather it was freeview, but 2 things: 1)It isn't the SFA that sold the rights it was UEFA, so not much could be done about it 2)There have been 'positive' talks about free to air games, which never happened with Sky Hopefully it ends up being better for the fans

@LeapfrogMark @TalkTV @iancollinsuk Most of the BBC is not suitable for a subs service, for example, no UK news programme is subscription only (even sky is on freeview) and technically it is not possible for radio stations. An advertising and sponsorship is more realistic but other media outlets will not like it

Bear in mind that the original Freeview (UK) group was launched back in 2002 so Channel 5 is only 20 or so years late Must have been all of that Public Service stuff they were organising which meant they couldn't join the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky 16/

@piersmorgan @PiersUncensored My TV is rubbish.. I tried searching for your show, i can't afford sky etc & freeview doesn't work (no aeriel) ive a now tv stick which doesn'tcover your show.. only option was YouTube & I only got snippets.. frustrating!

@JennieStrife Digital freeview is still transmitted through aerials, so yeah they still work. You just need to have a freeview enabled TV or a set-top box, old TV's can't pick up the signal.

Has anyone else solved the problem of watching @SkyArts on Samsung TV Plus? I'm starting to think that TV Plus ≠ Freeview is the problem.

@piersmorgan yes I'm rather unimportant, however I was excited by the announcement of your new channel on freeview 237. Sadly, the picture quality seems poor and I was further saddened by your introduction, which was somewhat
