@giffgaff I'd moved house, was on 3 at the time and in this house I barely got signal, so decided to change carriers. GiffGaff seemed to have the best sim only deal, got a sim, the rest is history. Bought 2 or 3 phones through yourselves too. All good stuff!

  • DanAlder80 Danny Alder (@DanAlder80) reported

Shocking service from @giffgaff . Recommend I change to 5g SIM and tell me it will take up 24 hours to activate. 50+ hours later and still no one can call me or text me. Escalate to technical team who say it will take up to 5 working days. No offer of refund. Disgusting.

@giffgaff Because it was all I could and still all I can afford. But even if I could go and splash out on a brand new phone (current one is a broken s7 edge) and fancy shmancy contract, I'd still stay with Giffgaff because I have NEVER had any issue at all. Xx

@giffgaff Anyone else having horrendous issues with top up / credit and applying goody bags?

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@Luke_J_117 Please turn your airplane mode on for 10 second Luke and if this doesn't help get you up and running after this, try your SIM in another phone to see if you can get any service. - giffgaff Jeanette

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@epicfail2048 We're not sure Tom. You could try the SIM in another phone to see if this helps at all. If not, then it could be the SIM at fault. Send us a DM however and we can check the account to ensure no issues are showing on the account. - giffgaff Jeanette

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@Cxrtxn_47 Hi Andrew. As we're a SIM only network, this means that we wouldn't release the operating system updates, and this would come directly from the manufacturer of the phone. - giffgaff Emer.

  • ClaydonNai Nai Claydon (@ClaydonNai) reported

@giffgaff I’ve topped up credit £30 then shows zero. Used different card added £20 and now says I can’t use credit to buy a goody bag! I’m down £50 and cannot use phone! ????

  • claytonblue1970 Peter Ward (@claytonblue1970) reported

And @Giffgaff - don't send my number out here, there and everywhere. There's been QUITE ENOUGH of that **** going on already (for which Britain is definitely going to pay, of course).

  • ShowbizMarc Marc Baylis (@ShowbizMarc) reported

@bitoclass @giffgaff I'm having this issue too - close to leaving the network to be honest, I depend on the underground wifi too much to have it keep failing...
