If anyone is trying to help an isolated elderly person get setup with a new mobile phone during lockdown, avoid @giffgaff. One month of admin and 2 broken devices received in a row with no attempt to make it right. Brands will be remembered for how they behave right now.

@simon_euro Giffgaff use the O2 network (and, last I checked) are owned by O2 (to some extent). Somehow, they've got quite a different corporate culture, though.

@FplDinosaur @MarcusRashford My phone is on pay as you go and I pay about £6 on giffgaff for the whole month. Yes we have internet too how are my kids supposed to do work without internet! We don’t have sky tv or anything like that so I keep cost down! Really some people need to have brains!

@giffgaff I have been having issues logging in to my giffgaff account this morning. First I thought this was just an issue with the app, but the same issue occurred when trying to log in through the Internet site. I need to access my account so help me resolve this ASAP
