@ThreeUK's internet is actually atrocious... My phone can take two sim cards so I've put a GiffGaff sim in and started using their internet to see if that is better, it's great! I can never get signal anywhere with 3. I've been with them over 10 years, definitely leaving now.

  • Chrissy_imc Christina (@Chrissy_imc) reported

@giffgaff Ok so can I cancel my goodie bag as the only reason I joined was for the data whilst I’m in Europe in august. I won’t have access to wifi and 5gb won’t be enough

  • MarPerRodr Marcos Perez (@MarPerRodr) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My advice to everybody is get a SIM-only monthly deal like Giffgaff. Much better value, they charge a monthly amount to your card and you can cancel when you want. Buy phone separately.

@sososlowly Youngest is on an Giffgaff monthly tariff with no contract and we’ve been pleased - no issues and v reasonable £

  • DalaiFarma Tommy (@DalaiFarma) reported

@giffgaff Sorry I missed this reply. I will drop you a DM tonight as it's still happening in the same place and the signal used to be great all through the town.

Why @giffgaff so poor around train stations/ central Manchester/ along train lines in built up areas? Updating thread to follow…

  • Kevbrown51 Kev Brown (@Kevbrown51) reported

@MartinSLewis I have broadband & landline, never make calls on this. Only reason for having the landline is poor reception for mobile in the area, landline an emergency system in case assistance needed. Mobile on GiffGaff with unlimited minutes & texts for £6 per month.

  • DrJoFranklin Dr Jo Franklin (@DrJoFranklin) reported

@MartinSLewis We live in area with v poor mobile coverage. WiFi works well, but having swapped to GiffGaff as Vodafone so awful, have no WiFi calling. Also elderly relatives prefer landline calls.

Thanks for your advice everyone. It appears that @giffgaff is overwhelmingly the most popular suggestion amongst you, but I still have to pay over £1000 in rentals before I can consider moving from the crooks at @EE. Do any providers help facilitating the move?
