    @giffgaff hi, i ordered a sim card, paid for one of your plans and now it is not working at all.... could you please help!

  • ChrisAvern Chris Avern (@ChrisAvern) reported

    @hhaarrryyyy2020 @giffgaff Of you step outside does it change at all? Sadly all networks can have this problem. Not sure if newer phones may work better or the incoming 5g signal. Difficult to suggest a solution, sorry for that but I hope something can be done to help you.

  • ChrisAvern Chris Avern (@ChrisAvern) reported

    @hhaarrryyyy2020 @giffgaff I know some areas can have what I call dead spots. Had issues with a surburban area yrs ago where there was no signal etc not sure if there can be blind spots between masts. It could also be something in the construction/materials of you're home. Sounds crazy I know but possible

    Does anyone know or recommend a good sim card network that's pay as you go .as Giffgaff is a **** and changing them I need unlimited data and texts not bothered about the minutes ;;

  • DavidBflower David Blanchflower BSc (@DavidBflower) reported

    @loisnomad I'm going to get a SIM from GiffGaff. Will use this new phone in an emergency when my current phone goes iffy again.

  • Yorksims John Woods (@Yorksims) reported

    @Jon__crawford @giffgaff I can only suggest you contact Oneplus to see if the last update should have cured it but there seem to be multiple firmware problems because since an update in Sept users on Three are saying they can't get 5G any more and I've seen reports that the 9 series won't work with O2 5G

  • osd_ball 🏄🏾‍♂️ way (@osd_ball) reported

    @giffgaff Hi Jade - the sim seems to not be picking up signal anymore? I've put it into another phone but it still has the same issue. Ideally I would like to pass the number over to a new sim and keep access to it rather than changing the number altogether.... can you support on this?

  • Jon__crawford Jon Crawford (@Jon__crawford) reported

    @giffgaff Ok, got an active Golden Goodybag. Got an area with a 5G signal. Not got a 5G signal. Got a OnePlus 8 Pro running Android 11. Is there an issue with that phone & O2 / giffgaff 5G?
