Thirdly! What network are you on? If you're on an MNVO (e.g. GiffGaff, Tesco Mobile etc please use the piggyback network if you know it)

@JayHarris_Sec @LargeCardinal @ms__chief Wife got hers 40mins before mine. Same room, 02 vs Giffgaff, which is odd given 02 offers mvno network to them.

Hello, you lovely @giffgaff people. I know I'm not alone in not having received the #emergencyalert message on my phone, however my wife next to me did on her Giffgaff Android mobile; presumably the signal is from the same mast? It's probably a Gov't ****-up as usual... Hey ho.

@PaulNewbery4 @imalexwatson What network(s) may I ask? We’re they on data only or Wi-Fi? Also 4g enabled? It seems anyone connected to wifi, O2 masts (three, giffgaff etc) and older phones (not 4g and above enabled) didn’t get the alert.

@TheBaoth @giffgaff My wife and I are both on @giffgaff. She got her alert, I didn't! Never mind. She'll be fine, while I drown, or fall into a black hole. #EmergencyAlerts

@DavidWaywell I'm on GiffGaff, runs on O². Arrived early. Which would give me a headstart for shelters. CANNOT WAIT for the Emergency Alert Conspiracy Theory hot-takes that are surely due...

@giffgaff @Laurape45036454 My wife didn’t get the alert in Oxenhope and neither did my daughter in London (both on Giffgaff). My phone, on EE, got it a couple of minutes early. I’d have to give them a call to pass on the alert in a real emergency. Come on giffgaff get your act together!

@TheBaoth @giffgaff It's not network related, it's sent by the nearest cell mast that you're connected to, irrespective of network
