@puncharama Yikes. Within your phone connection settings, you'll be able to change the network mode, to not include 5G service if you want this switched off. - giffgaff Jeanette

Hello @giffgaff A friend who is on a rival network (but one which also uses O2 infrastructure) has had EU roaming charges implemented. Can you confirm that you are going to continue not charging for EU+Norway roaming - at least until July?

@HutchieV Ah dang, I’ve been with giffgaff before and it was terrible, it could have just been the area I was in though tbh

  • markkitchen5 mark kitchen (@markkitchen5) reported

@giffgaff Which is great if your service worked but for me it hasnt and this setup of customer services is not ideal as it takes forever to get a reply. When in reality a 10 min phonecall would probably sort it in one go!

  • Handle_Barred_ ~Red/acted~ (@Handle_Barred_) reported

I'm singling out @giffgaff because they made it incredibly difficult to contact them, without being a customer

  • Ergun_Kazali Ergun Kazali (@Ergun_Kazali) reported

@boyci3 @giffgaff Funny, I’m in London & I had the opposite. I was with Smarty for a short while, had terrible signal 50% of the time practically everywhere. Since switching back to Giffgaff I’ve had no such problems. 👍

  • markkitchen5 mark kitchen (@markkitchen5) reported

@giffgaff Is it out of the realms of possibility to have someone call me just to put this issue to bed i mean it has been 4 months or is that not quite long enough

  • stephaniedk96 Stephanie Kelley (@stephaniedk96) reported

@scriblerian I always did this in reverse—PAYG in the UK (bc giffgaff was cheap, like £8/mo) & paused my US Verizon plan for months at a time, so I could keep the number/have service when here. Maybe there are cheaper US PAYG plans now though?
