Giffgaff actually is a great service provider but I’m not that much of a fan of them sending me bills of exactly how much money I spent when I call my overseas fam, pay per minute is so not the vibe for catching up with oma

Just watched a disgusting advert on C4. An ad from a group of "companies claiming they want to help us through this difficult period of rising prices." ******* parasites. Boots advertising their advantage card. Coop. Giffgaff. Go Conpare etc etc. LOWER YOUR PRICES that'd help us.

@giffgaff I’ve always been a loyal customer, been with you guys for years and years. I’ve noticed tonight that smarty is doing 200gb a month for £17 with unlimited talk and txts. I’ve been getting 50gb for £15 🤔. Few friends are switching over tomorrow, I’m thinking of doing the same.

@pheebiess Most UK networks are lucky in that they either share masts or, in the case of giffgaff, they run on the infrastructure built by o2. It bewilders me how poor the standard infrastructure is across NA and how it varies every dozen miles so massively.

@gridcustomersuk @giffgaff would mobile phone networks also be cut off if there are scheduled power cuts? If so, how should people contact emergency services if needed? I don't know anyone with a landline these days which I believe run on a different system.
