@EcotalkMobile OK. I've requested an unlocking code from GiffGaff. I presume that I don't need to be connected to a network to enable this as I can't connect to anybody at present. Who can I talk to if it doesn't work?

Well, @giffgaff support is honestly just a bunch of... O2 says strong 4G, 4G not working, they've sent out a replacement SIM (no joy), asked/given the same information three times and pointed me to the same community post twice. Think we're done.

Very impressed with Jeanette from @giffgaff, in less than an hour from me tweeting about the problem I've been having donating to charity via "text to donate" that left me with inadequate credit they've added £1 to my account to allow me to make my last donation to @MindCharity.

@altodev_ @jpdfive @giffgaff Ye but the O2 mobile network is meh. They are neck and neck with Three for being the slowest in the UK. Vodafone is so much faster than O2.

@plusnethelp I'm switching from GiffGaff to your mobile network and have requested to port my number which is meant to be happening tomorrow (Monday) but I've just got my new SIM card and decided I like my new number better. I know it's too late to cancel the port, can I undo it?
