Hello, you lovely @giffgaff people. I know I'm not alone in not having received the #emergencyalert message on my phone, however my wife next to me did on her Giffgaff Android mobile; presumably the signal is from the same mast? It's probably a Gov't ****-up as usual... Hey ho.

Well there's £20 I'll never see again, joined @SMARTYMobileUK Friday went to @giffgaff on Wednesday..... Sounds like a craig David song. Avoid smarty, had no service for 5 days and the only solution was they'll knock £5 off next months bill

  • ross_observer The Observer (@ross_observer) reported

@giffgaff Hi Emer, we did get in contact with your agents and they basically told us to go away. I had to travel 3 hours and sit with her for 12 hours so she could use my phone to call 111 for a near medical emergency and then wait for a doctor to arrive.

  • Northenerx Dennis Houghton (@Northenerx) reported

    Someone please help!!!@giffgaff

  • PaulHarris8882 Paul Harris (@PaulHarris8882) reported

@SMARTYMobileUK Spent 2 days on with your team, only thing they suggested was putting my sim in another phone, my phone worked perfectly for 2 years with o2, had smarty for 5 days and had with no signal. I paid for the month but give up and went to giffgaff, and now I have signal again

  • BethanyAnneJane Bethany Stanley (@BethanyAnneJane) reported

@EvanEdinger Three were fine, nothing special. O2 (I was on giffgaff though) were great tbh, no complaints. Just switched back to Vodafone who I had on a work phone a few years back, they were the only network who could give me signal in the property I lived in at the time. Going ok so far 🤞

  • niikhb nik (@niikhb) reported

@giffgaff usually your network is great, its just unfortunate in my current location, and it's really good value when the signal strength is better, sorry to be so negative before it's just a bit of a rock and a hard place with the internet here.
