Hello, you lovely @giffgaff people. I know I'm not alone in not having received the #emergencyalert message on my phone, however my wife next to me did on her Giffgaff Android mobile; presumably the signal is from the same mast? It's probably a Gov't ****-up as usual... Hey ho.

@giffgaff Hi, I just checked using the site status checker and no issues were identified. Been happening for abt a week +. I am trying the troubleshooting tips on the site. Hopefully that helps. But its unusual, there were never problems b4.

@giffgaff A sim I was forced to pay £10 for when only shopping for a refurbished phone. Plus it’s a subscription that I now need to cancel essentially forced me into a contract just to buy a second hand phone 😩 #scammers

@TroubleDads @virginmedia Completely agree, i felt it was so unfair. What made it worse was that about 4mth after moving in, VM was supplied to the area! They would have known this too. I take great delight in putting as many off of VM as i can, awful company. Happily now have giffgaff and freeview 👍
