@giffgaff I've now been 9 days with no phone or data access! This is unacceptable. All you tell me is you're working on it and don't have a timeframe for resolution. Please respond urgently regarding how to transfer to a different network.

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@unicornfacuk We are again sorry for the inconvenience caused, and we do sincerely hope that things are up and running again soon, and you're able to truly get started on our network - giffgaff Hannah (3/3)

  • unicornfacuk Helen @ The Unicorn Factory | Surface Design (@unicornfacuk) reported

@giffgaff Can you feedback to someone that the service issue needs to be VERY CLEAR on the page where you book a PAC transfer date? If @giffgaff can't currently process phone number transfers they shouldn't be letting people book them!

  • lissa1511 Mel (@lissa1511) reported

@giffgaff My num should have been transferred yest, but at least I had service but no service today! Had I known there were issues I wouldn’t have done it. You need to be VERY clear. Not fair!!

@Jaime_Rivera @SomeOfMiles OnePlus 3 was the last one I bought. Then the price basically doubled for their “flagship killer”. I came back for the 8 I think and it was mediocre in every way. With the weak support updates and lack of giffgaff 5g support without going into dev menus that was my last oneplus.

  • Happy_kiddo Nidhi (@Happy_kiddo) reported

@giffgaff Thank you for your reply. I’m still waiting for my sim to arrive in the mail, been quite a while. Plus i have my PAC from o2 ready. Really hoping your operations are back to normal next week as I’m a new customer.. now a nervous one. 👀

@ess_jay_em @O2 Yes. I use tesco and giffgaff which both use O2 Data stop start. On a minute basis. .Bridgwater area. Been going on for weeks now. Signal full 4g. But no data. There is definitely something not right . Agreed

@lissa1511 Hello, We apologise for the inconvenience caused to you and your Mother by this issue. Unfortunately, we don’t yet have an ETA to full service restoration. The backlog is still currently being processed, so hopefully this will be resolved very soon. - giffgaff Ann

@DJMidarezaki I actually think giffgaff are very good, but it's simpler to do things yourself. There is a box to tick on your account/payment page if you want to stop your automatic payments. Giffgaff doesn't work like other businesses

His data also had a username in it which he explained in his response to me: "[redacted] was my GiffGaff (Uk mobile phone network - subsidiary of O2 - Telefonica) username - this and the fact the survey was about GiffGaff tends to point to it being related"
