Smarty is Three 3G and 4G, owned by the same company. The top speed I've had so far is over 38 Mb/s. It's usually slower in the daytime. Recently, I had 9 Mb/s but last night I had over 30 Mb/s. Giffgaff is less cheap and uses the O2 network. I've been with them since 2014.

@Sir_RyKitching @KCOMhome not Kcom but mobile signal for Giffgaff & Tesco Mobile is shocking on Bev Rd this afternoon - trying to stream is impossible

@giffgaff for some reason you’ve said my next goodybag has failed even though I have enough money for it. I go onto the app/website and try to log in but it won’t let me, I then try to contact an agent about this problem but you need to log in to ask the problem, some help please

@giffgaff @salome_gongadze I have also been having poor or no service from giffgaff since the early afternoon today. Right now it's showing as "No Service". I have rebooted my iphone several times to no avail. Do not patronise us by pretending it's a settings issue.

    Anyone having problems with GiffGaff?

  • fluoresenz 🎹 Franz Schubert (@fluoresenz) reported

I am in the process of terminating my domestic ISP contract early on the grounds of unreliability and continuously slow speeds. I've returned to mobile broadband. Get a phone that can work as a wi-fi hotspot or a cheap mobile router, plus a SIM from Smarty or Giffgaff.

@Yorksims @giffgaff Yes, it’s confirmed that there is a mast fault. Data is still down, voice and SMS are intermittent. It was annoying last night as I couldn’t access a particular account because I needed a code texted to me for security, as is common these days.

  • ImperioBellaL Rebecca Scorer (@ImperioBellaL) reported

@giffgaff Any update yet? I still have no signal! What's the point in paying for a service if I can use it.
