@giffgaff That’s just it Nicole. The text comes in without a number. Just a name. I’ve blocked it. But to no avail on my iPhone. Was wondering if there is something you as a network can do to stop these unsolicited spam texts from so called reputable companies. Thanks.

@giffgaff Why? Are you saying that Starbuck's wifi was the problem? And I'm certainly not taking the SIM card out of my phone. It's old and might get damaged.

I been with @giffgaff for about 12yrs now, but I seriously wish they had a proper customer service support phone number. When you got an urgent issue this archaic message support system is unfit for purpose in 2022.

@alanhdev @giffgaff Funny you should say that. Yes. I've also spent the last week with 3g as my preference for connecting and it was fine but slow. Yesterday (in Manchester) I switched back to 4g and, touch wood, so far it's been fine. A glitch in the matrix perhaps

@feed_md @giffgaff Usually when abroad I get a local SIM, but that just for a few days. Haven’t travelled anywhere for a couple of years now, though! If there’s any issue I’ll be onto the credit card company, and it’s “only” £10.

@O2 Is supposed to be reliable. Assured me to be on their service by 31/3/22 and still nothing. Meanwhile my giffgaff stopped working as @O2 transferred my number.... Would be nice to have some explanation ASAP!!!!
