@giffgaff @Laurape45036454 My wife didn’t get the alert in Oxenhope and neither did my daughter in London (both on Giffgaff). My phone, on EE, got it a couple of minutes early. I’d have to give them a call to pass on the alert in a real emergency. Come on giffgaff get your act together!

@HywelSedgwick @alexhern I'm on GiffGaff which uses O2, didn't get it but I use 3G due to poor 4G and 5G connectivity so that's probably the reason for me.

@g0g0mi I got it and I'm on Giffgaff, my mum who is on EE didn't get it and neither did one of my friends but idk what network she's on. It seems to be very inconsistent

@ConstantGeekery Same here across 5 devices connected to @SMARTYMobileUK and @giffgaff networks. May be because Smarty devices were connected though WiFi calling and giffgaff only had 3G signal. 3/Smarty have acknowledged there was a problem and say they’re working to resolve it for real alerts!

only people on GiffGaff didn't get the #emergencyalert. Proof the government don't give a **** about chavs.

Hello, you lovely @giffgaff people. I know I'm not alone in not having received the #emergencyalert message on my phone, however my wife next to me did on her Giffgaff Android mobile; presumably the signal is from the same mast? It's probably a Gov't ****-up as usual... Hey ho.

@PaulNewbery4 @imalexwatson What network(s) may I ask? We’re they on data only or Wi-Fi? Also 4g enabled? It seems anyone connected to wifi, O2 masts (three, giffgaff etc) and older phones (not 4g and above enabled) didn’t get the alert.

@jackwallington @giffgaff Hi Jack, this is not a giffgaff issue. Many others did not receive this.

@RhysCurtis14 I’m on GiffGaff as well. Strange as loads of people down in Cornwall didn’t get theirs.

@Nanami_Moon01 Hmm strange. Three have apparently been terrible for this (I'm on them)... I think Giffgaff piggybacks off a operator meaning it wouldn't be affected by that... Wonder what went wrong then.
