    @giffgaff I’m a CEV secondary school teacher, massive BT outage in my area so no way to set work or teach my lessons tmw. I have a giffgaff sim in a mifi router - bought a goodybag about half an hour ago. No signal.

    @giffgaff I tried this many times, it takes a long time to connect to any of the networks, and when I do, the connection stays for only a few minutes and I'm left with 'emergency calls' only again. So, unfotunately, this doesn't help. I also tried to turn off and on my phone many times..

    @matryer Contract? Ew. 🤢 Not sure what it's like in the US, but in the UK I've never had a mobile contract that aligned the provider's priorities with actually providing a service. Looking at you @VodafoneUK, now using @giffgaff and free to move immediately if I ever need to.
