Tales of Mother: So my mum calls me up and asks me to 'fix her phone'. What she means is that she has a second phone she wants everything transferring to, and has got the pak code for her to take her number to GiffGaff. I rock up...

@giffgaff What is your policy on keeping numbers alive on your network? For example, I will be using a connection on your network, but not that often. How often would I need to make an outbound call to retain the number?

@kirky0110 Your provider is Giffgaff, you have no contact or contract with O2, other than it’s the network Giffgaff use. I am no fan of O2 either, but Giffgaff have been superb

  • JackpWild JackPWild (@JackpWild) reported

@giffgaff My advice. Don't. They sell broken phones.

  • WorthyOnTheWeb Claire Worthington - Ranty McRantface She/Her (@WorthyOnTheWeb) reported

I only came on twitter to whine about @giffgaff periodically resetting my voicemail back to the chirpy northern bloke without warning - I’ve been with them for years, never understood it and wish they’d pack it in
