@giffgaff so - I can't activate my card cos I changed providers, but I need my provider to activate my card, but I need my card to activate my provider, I bought a voucher, but I still need my card. See what's happening? Can someone help? Don't want to go back to @ThreeUK

  • 0001Matt Matt (@0001Matt) reported

@giffgaff Er, no, you misunderstand me. First attempt to change password, locked out of account. Problem your end, not mine.

  • ProveIt78 Andy Holding (@ProveIt78) reported

@giffgaff I don’t believe you. There is always a way to escalate and prioritise. With customer service (or rather lack of it) like this. I’m very glad I’m not a customer and never will be. How do I complain about your complaints process.

  • MsNMcLoughlin Ms. McLoughlin (@MsNMcLoughlin) reported

@giffgaff I can’t find the original box to return it, is that a problem? I can send in an iPhone box instead?

  • ProveIt78 Andy Holding (@ProveIt78) reported

@giffgaff I’ve received a SIM card through the post addressed to someone I’ve never heard of and who doesn’t live at my address. I need you to cancel the sim and remove my address from your records and the potential fraudsters account.

  • ProveIt78 Andy Holding (@ProveIt78) reported

@giffgaff This doesn’t work. And this is urgent as someone is using my address fraudulently. I need action now. Not in 5 days. No customer service number, appallingly slow complaints process. Shocking.

  • radiocode1969 Lee Wiltshire 💙 (@radiocode1969) reported

@2I0Fvx That’s the backup plan - I have plenty of old phones that I can give her, with a giffgaff SIM. It’s interesting that all of the major apps (Signal, WhatsApp, etc) rely on having a mobile number, which gets passed on.

  • ProveIt78 Andy Holding (@ProveIt78) reported

@giffgaff Please stop repeating yourself. Why will you not deal with this when you (giffgaff) have looked into other issues relating to inactive accounts via DM? This is a serous issue involving potential fraud.

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@ProveIt78 We are an exclusively online network, so we don't have a telephone number, and we're unable to call members. We totally understand that you would like this looked into as soon as possible, and our member relations team will get back to you as soon as they can. - giffgaff Emer.

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@MsNMcLoughlin No, that's not a problem at all. You can return the phone in any suitable packaging that you have available, if you no longer have the original packaging. - giffgaff Emer.
