@CentralBylines Husband did (including the alarm noise) I didn't, so it was 50:50 in our house. I was definitely on 4G. I'm with Giffgaff who use O2s network (I think?)

@giffgaff @Laurape45036454 My wife didn’t get the alert in Oxenhope and neither did my daughter in London (both on Giffgaff). My phone, on EE, got it a couple of minutes early. I’d have to give them a call to pass on the alert in a real emergency. Come on giffgaff get your act together!

@flyfour @giffgaff 4 phones, same location, same network and only one phone got the alert. So the reality is, its neither network nor mast. Its just another broken system.

Hello, you lovely @giffgaff people. I know I'm not alone in not having received the #emergencyalert message on my phone, however my wife next to me did on her Giffgaff Android mobile; presumably the signal is from the same mast? It's probably a Gov't ****-up as usual... Hey ho.

@PaulNewbery4 @imalexwatson What network(s) may I ask? We’re they on data only or Wi-Fi? Also 4g enabled? It seems anyone connected to wifi, O2 masts (three, giffgaff etc) and older phones (not 4g and above enabled) didn’t get the alert.

Didn't get the #emergencyalert and I'm on @giffgaff so having a patchy mobile signal is a benefit after all.

@sammwittings As far as I’m aware EE customers received however three and virtual mobile networks like giffgaff and virgin mobile customer didn’t receive this is a major failure yes there is customers and people that are vulnerable and relieved they may not have recieved this but others didn’t

@ConstantGeekery Same here across 5 devices connected to @SMARTYMobileUK and @giffgaff networks. May be because Smarty devices were connected though WiFi calling and giffgaff only had 3G signal. 3/Smarty have acknowledged there was a problem and say they’re working to resolve it for real alerts!

@TheBaoth @giffgaff Hi Joruus, this is not a giffgaff issue. Many others did not receive this.
