So glad my backup unlimited @giffgaff data has expired just in time for @virginmedia to go down. Sod's law. #FirstWorldProblems

  • DeCNTRLZD Dan (@DeCNTRLZD) reported from Stockport, England

@giffgaff why is your reception no existent in Manchester like wtf

  • essers Esjay (@essers) reported from Manchester, England

I didn’t want to change mobile provider. But I was told this was the only way I could keep my service bill at a level I could afford. I was very happy with the PAYG service I had from @giffgaff, and did not want to change, but it was that or a surcharge.

  • AlDuck2 Alison Duckworth (@AlDuck2) reported from Mellor, England

@giffgaff can someone get back to me pls - my phone just stopped working yesterday, I have no service, goody bag active.

  • LadyEkaterina The Everlasting Concubine (@LadyEkaterina) reported from Manchester, England

@giffgaff Hello lovely giffgaff. I am not a customer but my chum is and he’s run out of data. I would like to buy him some data but I can’t see how to do that. Can you help please?

  • RangeHeating R🔥nge Heating (@RangeHeating) reported from Stockport, England

@giffgaff Doesn’t get to the root of the problem though. And it doesn’t help prevent it happening to others who may not be as savvy and may fall for it. @Ofcom

  • MissMcLovin84 Nicola McGee (@MissMcLovin84) reported from Manchester, England

@giffgaff absolute disgusting service from yourselves and the repair team. Informing us by letter that my 12 year old had damaged his phone - does this go for my Dad with the same phone, he is 66 years old. Couldn't admit responsibility, think trading standards 😡

Giffgaff Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • JSB93x Jordan (@JSB93x) reported

@giffgaff @AshJamIng Flexible payment plans/Goody bags. Any issues are usually resolved quickly. Only thing I dislike is I can’t chose my date of repayment for my goody bag and it comes out on the 14th - that’s the only issue I have.

  • ProveIt78 Andy Holding (@ProveIt78) reported

@giffgaff This doesn’t work. And this is urgent as someone is using my address fraudulently. I need action now. Not in 5 days. No customer service number, appallingly slow complaints process. Shocking.

  • radiocode1969 Lee Wiltshire 💙 (@radiocode1969) reported

@2I0Fvx That’s the backup plan - I have plenty of old phones that I can give her, with a giffgaff SIM. It’s interesting that all of the major apps (Signal, WhatsApp, etc) rely on having a mobile number, which gets passed on.

  • 0001Matt Matt (@0001Matt) reported

@giffgaff Er, no, you misunderstand me. First attempt to change password, locked out of account. Problem your end, not mine.

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@ProveIt78 You just need to select 'continue' under not a member, and follow the on screen instructions. Whenever you're asked for an incident number, you can select 'I don't have an incident number', and then 'Make a complaint' to continue. - giffgaff Emer. (2/2)

  • Viking_Sarah_1 Sarah the Crazy (@Viking_Sarah_1) reported

@nicklesby79 Oh I thought you meant home wifi not also 4G. I have Shell for home and @GiffGaff for mobile. GiffGaff are part of O2 so use their network. Brilliant reception and very cheap!

  • semaj0791 Jay Dee (@semaj0791) reported

@giffgaff repeated loss of phone signal is really making me look to an alternative network. Paying for a service that far too often just is not available.

  • MaxLang36500067 Max Lang (@MaxLang36500067) reported

@VOXI_UK @giffgaff It seems that Vodafone and Voxi quietly stopped supporting the Virgin London Underground network. Thanks Vodafone

  • ProveIt78 Andy Holding (@ProveIt78) reported

@giffgaff I don’t believe you. There is always a way to escalate and prioritise. With customer service (or rather lack of it) like this. I’m very glad I’m not a customer and never will be. How do I complain about your complaints process.

  • Mlle_LeVell Mademoiselle LeVell 3.5% funny ✊🏽 💚 (@Mlle_LeVell) reported

@giffgaff Hi, I received a text today from 43431 saying that I have used all of my data & will be charged 10p/MB & if I want to renew my good bag (a week early) to follow the link! Never happened before & Ive been with you for 1 year. Scam or genuine from GiffGaff? Thanks.
