@giffgaff absolute disgusting service from yourselves and the repair team. Informing us by letter that my 12 year old had damaged his phone - does this go for my Dad with the same phone, he is 66 years old. Couldn't admit responsibility, think trading standards 😡

I didn’t want to change mobile provider. But I was told this was the only way I could keep my service bill at a level I could afford. I was very happy with the PAYG service I had from @giffgaff, and did not want to change, but it was that or a surcharge.

@giffgaff Doesn’t get to the root of the problem though. And it doesn’t help prevent it happening to others who may not be as savvy and may fall for it. @Ofcom

As you say it could be a sim used by a vulnerable person who needs an emergency mobile in case they fall...

@Kikiofren Nah I use giffgaff (🙌🏻). Also my worry with a CC is executive dysfunction issues .... I’d forget or get anxious about doing it for no reason at all (see: how I’ve done that for like everything else). I am not the right person to have one, basically.

@giffgaff Hey is your network down atm? I am getting patchy connection at best, and seeing as my wifi is down today as Virgin are doing repairs, I was kinda relying on my data to get stuff done today. 😭
