@giffgaff Look I’ve literally got covid and I’m tired and we’ve just had to try and get power restored to our house during which time my crap giffgaff made that harder.

  • DrSamHayes1 Dr Sam Hayes (@DrSamHayes1) reported

@giffgaff But you’ve never offered this before when I have contacted. I’ve been persevering for months. I’ll decide later. Maybe. We have power restored and miraculously it’s still not working but at least I have Wi-Fi again.

  • DrSamHayes1 Dr Sam Hayes (@DrSamHayes1) reported

@giffgaff I’ve been through the community forum stuff and done your manual roaming. I think it’s just your service isn’t very good. I know loads of people who have the same experience. As I say, it’s cheap for a reason.

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@Edyir_ Yes that was for NE17PF, the data appears to be slow in NE289HQ. You could try switching the mobile data connection from 4G to 3G in the meantime to see if that helps your connection, 1/2 - giffgaff Nicole

  • Edyir_ Chris Reid (@Edyir_) reported

@giffgaff just switched to your sim only and in Newcastle city centre and Ne28 the signal is too slow to use the internet on 4g, never mind 5g! Is there a cooling off period?! Horrendous experience so far

  • DrSamHayes1 Dr Sam Hayes (@DrSamHayes1) reported

@giffgaff It’s not a temporary signal issue. It’s a complete failure of your network to actually provide coverage. I’ve done all your community advice stuff and fiddled with settings and all sorts. It’s just useless.

  • cruciomysoul Paige (@cruciomysoul) reported

Anyone else experiencing no available network work @giffgaff and Google #Pixel6? Worked fine for the last couple weeks up until yesterday...

  • DrSamHayes1 Dr Sam Hayes (@DrSamHayes1) reported

@giffgaff I’ve submitted an agent request so we’ll see if this time you can resolve it. But at some point Jeanette the answer might be “sorry, we’re not good enough & we can’t fix it.” Pretending you can & acting like it’s my fault is not good customer service or keeping me with giffgaff

  • DaveEllisDev Dave Ellis 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺 (@DaveEllisDev) reported

I love that using @giffgaff means having full signal constantly but still not having a working connection. It’s like being gaslit by your phone every time you leave the house.

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@DrSamHayes1 There could be many factos causing this Sam, and without further checks within your account, or further troubleshooting being completed, we're unable to say why. A different SIM may be needed, and testing with a different phone can rule out phone issues. - giffgaff Jeanette
