@giffgaff I really don't want to move company as I like how easy Giffgaff is to use but the past 3 months have been awful, only lets me load things I've searched for in URL bar before , sometimes nothing for a while. Spend most of the time using my mates hotspot. Any help?

  • DrChemistryEmz Emma (@DrChemistryEmz) reported

@Yorksims @Arednel @giffgaff Yes, sorry, I meant if they were available all the time the store is or only from the mobile phone mini shop. They’re available all the time on the tills, just grabbed one but can’t activate it until the morning. The sim is working though (shows signal) so looks good! Thanks:)

  • DrChemistryEmz Emma (@DrChemistryEmz) reported

@Yorksims @Arednel @giffgaff Yep that’s the plan! Tried another network sim and it works. I’m just not sure if I can grab a Sim at Tesco this late, I don’t know if they have them for sale.

  • ChericoRoo Cherico 🌻 (@ChericoRoo) reported

@giffgaff @JebbleG Sadly that rules you out for us. Our mobile signal at home is at best one bar so wifi calling is essential. Voxi have given less than a months notice that they are removing EU roaming due to ‘costs’ but refuse to reduce our plan price to compensate.

  • DrChemistryEmz Emma (@DrChemistryEmz) reported

@Arednel @giffgaff Wel nobody messages me anyway, but I’m out tomorrow so not having any signal will just make me stressed out

  • JebbleG Jeremy (@JebbleG) reported

@ChericoRoo @giffgaff Same problem here, literally can't make a single phone call without standing on the balcony and even then it's questionable. I've moved back to Smarty for WiFi calling + incl roaming but they were quite **** 1.5 year ago so fingers crossed

  • A_L_M_95 👑A👑 (@A_L_M_95) reported

@giffgaff SERIOUSLY you need to sort it out I’ve just got a new @e_emobile sim and trying to get a pac code to keep my number is impossible!!! Ridiculous worse signal just everything about giffgaff is dreadful!!!!

  • SigniusNetworks Signius (@SigniusNetworks) reported

@giffgaff You clearly do not under what these "alerts are" these are specific Alert Notifications for 02 WiFi hotspots. Suggesting users need to turn off their WiFi completely is just technical illiteracy. I don't get an Alert Notification every time my phone see's a WiFi network do I

@ChericoRoo Hello there, giffgaff uses the O2 network. Our goodybag plans can be used in the EU and selected destinations. You are entitled to a maximum of 63 days of EU roaming after UK usage is detected in any four-month period, with data use capped at 20GB per goodybag. - giffgaff Ann 1/2
