Why does @giffgaff not work in Europe. Asking for my BF, who is currently on the road in Germany and can't get a signal unless he jumps on wifi!

@george24740 @VodafoneUK @giffgaff Our engineers have found some damaged cables and are carrying out a repair. While we do this you might have some trouble with your calls, texts and data. We're working as fast as we can. Updated 19:35 (refreshed hourly). Recent faults might not show yet.

@giffgaff my daughter has spent her savings on refurbished iPhone XS Max from you. Arrived but Face ID is not working have followed all instructions online to reset it but appears to be hardware fault. Very disappointing, please advise on how to get a refund.
