@hbomax App is broken on Roku. Goto load anything it kicks you back out to the menu.

@squarestanley @hbomax Like, I used to believe that the captioning carried directly over from previous home media releases, but no, this is the same problem across all of them, and that’s too much a spread for all three sets to have the same problem

The Matrix Resurrections on @hbomax is streaming using frame blending at 60fps, not native 24fps, even when running the app on devices with framerate switching and 24fps enabled. HBO can you fix this? Please? It's a problem when streaming your movies on most new TVs.

Hey @HBOMaxHelp I have a Roku and can't watch The Matrix. Other HBO videos play, but The Matrix gives me the loading dots and then goes back home. Tried restarting Roku. Didn't work. Gave up and watched it on my iPad and don't care anymore, but thought you should know.

@hulu_support Why am I paying @hulu_support for @HBOMaxHelp if I can't watch HBO Max on Hulu? This sounds like 2 huge corporations ******* over the people who are actually paying them money. Hulu is saying HBOmax problem & HBOmax says Hulu problem and all I know is I am paying you both money

@hbomax your streaming service is one of the worst. The amount of times the stream is choppy and won’t play is amazing. We just got cut off in the middle of a movie with “title not available” after suffering through buffering during the stream.

@HBOMaxHelp Yeah, I've tried to play it multiple times on my phone and a message kept popping up saying it was unable to play video and to try back later. But it plays the movie immediately on my PS4 with no problems whatsoever.

@hbomax considered not renewing with you guys..but couldn't stand the thought of no Curb! Renewed and your service is down prob cause of the Matrix sequel! Shortest renew you'll ever see. You just fixed all your problems with this app and streaming. Prob never hear from you.

@HBOMaxHelp Check DM for more It isn't the progressbar that's flashing but there's a blinking black frame in the video. Sony OLED running Android TV. Probably something to do with the Dolby vision or HDR because the black frame doesn't happen when I cast it but then the picture quality ...

So #TheMatrixResurrections has enough CGI issues in it that I am glad I watched it on @hbomax rather than risking getting COVID and spending money in a theater. I'll give it ⭐⭐⭐out of 5, mainly because you have to remember to remove the harness cables in post!
