@HBOMaxHelp On my Samsung smart tv I have the following: Netflix, YouTube, YouTube TV, Disney plus, Hulu, Amazon prime, and HBO Max. The only one that gives me problems (crashing, poor quality, freezing, slow response, buffering) is HBO Max. NO issues with any other apps. What’s the deal.

@HBOMaxHelp The fix is really simple… 1. Checkout the tag for prior release before you did away with the native tvOS player. 2. Bump the version number higher than the current release. 3. Build and push to App Store review. Expedite the review for good measure.

My only issue with @hbomax has been that the "continue watching" was a pain because you could only have about 18 titles showing in the timeline. Logged on today to discover IT HAS BEEN SHORTENED TO FIT EVEN LESS NOW. What the heck #HBOMax ? Extend timeline to 20, thanks!

@HBOMaxHelp Please consider going back to the native player on Apple TV. Apple TV remotes have lost the ability to skip back and forward. The scrubbing function on the brand new $60 remote I just paid for does not work. Three loading dots appear frequently when trying to watch anything.

@HBOMaxHelp Streamcasting from iPhone 11 to vizio model P659-G1. iPhone SW is up to date as well as the TV. No error message, but before the movie starts playing the stream cast cuts off on its own.

The subtitling on @hbomax ‘Annabelle’ is terrible. It’s disappointing to say the least. There are odd symbols in the actions. It doubles or triples lines in places. I’m hoping it’s just this one.

@hbomax fix your stupid app, it keeps forwarding and rewinding uncontrollably on my Apple TV. It was perfectly fine with the Apple TV’s interface but you guys decided to mess that up and now it’s in watchable.

@radpeterman @HBOMaxHelp Even better is to cancel your subscription until the app is fixed. It's complete garbage right now. Inexcusable, the app was nothing great but at least it was using Apple's built-in video player rather than their own crap. HBO is a terrible tech company, stick to content.
