    I am constantly amazed at how awful @HostGator's customer service is. I seriously keep thinking there's no way you can get worse, and then BOOM you take a website offline for over 30 hours with and only say "Sorry that's a different department".

    shame on @HostGator & their illegal billing practices. 1st they charge a card I did not save on file, have taken 2MONTHS to respond. They reference a wrong amount & are charging the disputed amount AGAIN in order to restore my service. @bbb_us #PCI #thieves

    . @HGSupport @HGSupport FYI, Best practices does not allow for you to work on, block ports, or reboot the server several times each day. These things need to be planned and all websites informed 24 to 48 hours ahead time of down time. - James owner of pocbooks

    @HGSupport I'm not sure that's true, the last ticket, went up on the 14th, you took payment on the 14th and no action it's the 17th today. Maybe you need more support staff?

    @HGSupport @forzalossie Just disappointed that @HGSupport is generally not taking an issue seriously, or understanding the issue. I have to contact live support repeatedly and go through the same tiresome explanation again and again. And sometimes still not be believed!

    @HGSupport The ticket in this instance is LBR-53296167, as much as I am keen to get help on this, this happens EVERY single time with you guys, and you manage to take the money pretty quickly then nothing. You have to resolve how you manage this process as it's not acceptable

    Hostgator is being very disappointing. 4 days after requesting a 3rd-party SSL installation. No action, even after 2 live chats attempting to bump the ticket. Your support has always been Goals for me. Can't keep saying that.

    Having MAJOR problem with @HostGator and @HGSupport with one of my two accounts dropping my sent emails off a cliff...wasted time yesterday and today X two 45 minute calls...and now wasting time in a damn chat with support because they will not issue a support ticket for tier 2.

    I shouldn't be too hard on @hostgator for one bad experience. They have been good for years now for me. It just was a frustrating experience. So the main reason for this Tweet is to say Host Gator has been great, except for that one time. Just want to keep it real. #hosting

    Leaving Dreamhost due to terribly slow servers for my wordpress sites. Who do you recommend? Hearing SiteGround, HostGator, and WPEngine are good. WPEngine is like 10 times the cost of the others, though.

    @kinshtech @HostGator You can log into your account and submit a ticket which will attach your account information and send to the correct team for handling, much like email but with out the middle man. If you do not have access to your account then please contact support so they may assist further.

    Just had what had to be the worst tech help experience with @HostGator. I had to explain to "Marc" 5 times what happened to my site and it was like he wasnt paying attention and kept wanting to cancel a SSL certificate that had nothing to do with me. Maybe time to move hosters.

    @HGSupport Sorry don't cut it. Looking back at your tweets, you guys have been "sorry" about your lack of free SSL support for the past three years. HG's social team doesn't deserve to be on blast, instead, HG corporate. Don't be sorry. Do something about it.

    @HGSupport Yeah, "Free." Free as in "spend an extra couple hundred dollars to upgrade your plan" free. Unacceptable. SSL needs to be a basic feature for all. At the very least, free @letsencrypt support is a necessity.

    @Xelnath @HGSupport Did you know that SSL is completely free these days? Thanks to the @LetsEncrypt project you should never have to pay for Domain Validated SSL. All good hosting companies already have support for @LetsEncrypt, including us!

    @HGSupport Hostgator - your website showed me this when I purchased an SSL certificate less than an hour ago - but it assigned the SSL certificate to the wrong subdomain - I NEVER picked one. Please correct this, I don't want to have to stop payment via credit card.

    @HGSupport just an update moved to @a2hosting who does provide Let's Encrypt and 2FA support and couldn't be happier. Security and customers really matter to them it seems.
