    I've been scammed and my WordPress blog ruined by @HostGator and SiteLock. Plugins turned off, supposed malware, parts of main page turned off. Every phonemail a different answer or issue and request for buying some other service. #watchout #wordpressblog #beware

    @hostgator @hgsupport What is the record for how long it takes to reply to a ticket request created by your level 1 support? You are now at 24 HOURS!!! NOBODY can send us emails. It says USER doesn't exist! For over 2 years accounts exist. Cpanel shows them, but can't touch!

    @HGSupport We report via chat that your IPs are blacklisted. Your answer is that I should contact BARRACUDA / SORBS SPAM to clear this record. So for that they have technical support.

    @HostGator NO you can't, your "Techs" on the phone never know what causeing the problem after one hr of being on hold. Last time was April 2nd . not even a month has passed. Bad for business.

    Anyone else use @HostGator and have a ton of issues with it? I have two hosting plans with them for two different domains. Can't get either to work, can't get my e-mail working and support is mind numbing. Been on hold in a support chat for minutes at a time with no end in sight.

    @pridetechdesign @altgirlmedia @HGSupport @GoDaddy Thanks. I'll give it a read. I'm likely in the market for something new. @HGSupport isn't cutting it anymore. They've gone noticeably down hill in regards to customer service the last two years.

    @HGSupport It would be good if you could fix it. I have had three separate outages just today. I have multiple outages a day multiple days a week. They never last more than 5-10 minutes but it usually is a "error connecting to database" and my customers see that as well.

    i've been with @HostGator over 10 years and service has fallen apart lately. I have outages multiple times a day, multiple days a week and the best I can get is a credit. I'm in the middle of an outage now and can't get it resolved.

    @HGSupport No need to DM. You moved me in Jan from a baby plan to new cloud plan. Customer service rep told me a migration ticket would be initiated at that time. it never was. Now I have 2 cpanels and cust support says I will be charged for a migration. I'd rather find a new provider.

    @abrightclearweb @iamjankoch I’ve got a client on them and it’s just painful (DB connect issues weekly). I’m trying to move them asap. Also trying to get a domain out of their management system is a nightmare. Bluehost/Justhost/Hostgator are all AIG and are all basically the same.

    Worst interface ever.. Was going to purchase the entire two year plan but decided to go for one month first to test it... it is so confusing ... can't understand anything... DON't use #bluehost ever.. go to hostgator... it is much simple #bluehost

    @HGSupport disappointed with billing. We were charged $262 for two more years for an account we no longer use 12 DAYS BEFORE renewal. We tried SAME DAY to cancel and then get a refund because we don't use. Agent just said we are not guaranteed a refund.

    @HGSupport @HostGator On hold again, for another 10 minutes, after waiting 45 minutes fora . supervisor who couldn't figure out her headset and disconnected me. You guys fail to fix your "error" invoices and they are due today for taxes (have been trying for a week - no fix).

    @HedonicRunner @jjmacnab Not a lot to this web site: static pages that don't appear to have been updated since 1996. So the "maintenance" comes down to paying the hosting bill. Their provider, Hostgator, charges about $100/year for this kind of site.

    @austinturner01 @troyhunt 2/2 Many of our customer just have simple questions on live chat which do not require us to authenticate them and no sensitive changes or information is provided. Hostgator would be wise to learn from our practices and never take passwords over chat.

    @austinturner01 @troyhunt 1/2 Discussing security on a public forum is not a good idea. Simply put support staff or management has no access to passwords. The key issue here is Hostgator support wanted passwords that support can verify over live chat.
