    Son trying to cash in his @HSBC_UK child trust fund. They need a bank statement to prove ID. No one has paper bank statements any more. 3 trips to HSBC, still not resolved. Goes to Natwest to ask for help. They say “HSBC CTF? Yeah, we get lots of problems with that”.

    Quite possibly the worker banking experience I’ve ever had, @HSBC_UK have stopped a LB important payment. I called several times (waited 30 minutes every time). Then my account was suspended. I’ve the last a week, I have wasted about 6 hours waiting to speak to someone. Awful.

    @hwallop @HSBC_UK . Reduced hours and days in branches and hour long waits online. Then problems not solved when you do get through. Terrible

    @HSBC_UK is it your policy to have customers waiting an hour for one payment? Your Notting Hill branch have been exceptionally slow. From what I understand you understaff intentionally

    @HSBC_UK Trying to source a telephone banking security number after switching my current account. Each time I have called this morning the response has been an automated message advising you are now closed and that your opening hours are 8 am to 8 pm ... could you help, please!?

    @HSBC_UK hey, I requested an account closure and transfer to another HSBC account and the funds dissapeared and it’s taking 10 business day instead of 5 to receive them. Your team said it’s because they are working from home. Great service 👍🏻. CC: @TheFCA

    @HSBC_UK hi, you sent my new debit card to an old address which I didn’t request! I also have no access to the old address so I blocked the card! It wont let me reorder a new one to my preferred address and your phone team kept me on hold for over an hour! Cmon, what’s going on!
