HSBC Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • simonnread simon read (@simonnread) reported

@RedCircleFP @HSBC_UK HSBC made profits of £2bn in the last quarter. It could easily afford to continue to provide the service it has offered for years, but has chosen not to.

  • CostfordE Elizabeth Costford (@CostfordE) reported

@HSBC_UK closing 100+ branches: I was on hold for 1hr plus today only to be told to I have to go into my branch to resolve the issue. Sure it’s a good idea?

  • RedCircleFP Darren Cooke (@RedCircleFP) reported

@simonnread @HSBC_UK Banks have never pretended to provide a service. They do provide a service, that is their business. If not enough people use that service it closes, no business keeps open a loss making branch. If B&Q close a store, or Tesco, nobody moans. Why do they moan when a bank does?

  • Eastreadingcom Eastreadingcommunity (@Eastreadingcom) reported

@paullewismoney @HSBC_UK Sad day for lots of people who don't have smart phones or unable to use smart phones to access mobile banking

  • wetgaz1329 GAZZA P (@wetgaz1329) reported from Dunfermline, Scotland

@itvnews How will people bank with @HSBC_UK who don't have any access to a mobile phone? This is incredibly short sighted.

  • gerrybish Gerald Bishop (@gerrybish) reported

@HSBC_UK Hi, tried ti sign an agreement for credit card but been unsuccessful and now used up all my attempts, can someone help ?

  • simonnread simon read (@simonnread) reported

@RedCircleFP @HSBC_UK But as you said yourself, there are people who want the service. They're withdrawing it from them after what is probably years or decades of providing it. Surely you can understand customers' distress?

  • AlexaDWilson Alexa Wilson (@AlexaDWilson) reported

Having closed our local branch @HSBC_UK now has plans to close all the others in our area including Cirencester, Chippenham and Stroud. Such disregard for customers who have no access to the internet is appalling - but not surprising.

  • diekatana1 die-katana (@diekatana1) reported

@HSBC_UK Give them your ****** money or next HSBX worker gets a broken jaw.

  • JKPlanner Jonathan Planner (@JKPlanner) reported

@HSBC_UK What a surprise people using more digital banking when you’ve closed so many branches already!! Beaconsfield Marlow Amersham Henley Windsor Thame Hazelmere Chesham Gerrards Cross all closed or closing and no counter in Wycombe! Letting customers down!
