Clearly some big issues at @HSBC_UK - having tried to upgrade my account twice already and been kept on hold for over an hour, I thought I’d try on Saturday. Hour and twenty minutes so far… Clearly they don’t want my custom. Avoid.

@Neil1637 @HSBC_UK Recently had the same crappy service myself when some scumbag hacked our Just Eat account and ordered themselves some food at my expense. Lots of chatting with different people, all giving different advice. Repeating myself even though the log was all there. 1/2

@HSBC_UK Do you plan for it to be ready for the public beta? As you've removed the option to have a physical security key, I presume there's a plan in place to allow people to access their online banking?

The service on the phone & in branch by “High St” banks is appalling. Both local banks I visited were busy with disgruntled customers. Apparently they are closing due to the impact of internet banking, it’s actually due to their incompetence! #Disgusted @HSBC_UK @Barclays

@HSBC_UK Thanks Saffron for your private message. Quoting that it’s “Terms and Conditions” isn’t really an answer though. There’s no fundamental reason why interest rates couldn’t be amended if you really wanted to “help”. Would you not agree?

Bloody technology: with banks closing branches so the personal service has almost completely gone I was shunted onto the @HSBC_UK app and it took ages for me to get used to it. Now they’ve changed it again and stupidly on a Sun sq my 🪐 day I’ve tried it for the first time FFS 🤬
