    Hey @HSBC_UK I’m trying to set up a direct debit for pay my credit card. Can’t do it on the app or the website. Been on hold to customer services for an hour. Chat bot says it going to be up to 10 hrs 30 mins before an agent can get back to me. What an absolute shambles

    @HSBC_UK how am I supposed to use my account? You have a maximum of 3 devices able to use the app. You cannot login online without the app, live chat cannot help without you logged into your account, & no-one picks up on the support line.

    @HSBC_UK Hi. Got a txt saying I'm going to be charged for being overdrawn last night, but I couldn't check my balance last night as I planned, because your services were down. Plus I guessed an amount to transfer from another account & the money was returned because your systems were down

    @HSBC_UK It's one thing to randomly text a block on an account at midday on a Saturday (Considering branches shut at 1).. Quite another to deny someone access to their own funds the entire weekend.. -Safeguarding would've been foiling prev. activity..not this😤 #NoNewsIsNoNews

    @SteveMiami3 @HSBC_UK @BBCCiN Erm ATMs didn’t work either. Nothing did. What if you were out? Don’t forget Hsbc have been saying how we should all go cashless. And you’re missing the point. Yes issues but not informing customers whilst you’re saying everything is fine is shockingly bad.

    How can a bank as big as @HSBC_UK be sooo incompetent and unhelpful to its customers!!! Waited 4x days for new bank card which is blocked and nobody can tell me why or unblock it. Now without access to my account for up to another 7x days while I wait for yet another card!!!

    @HSBC_UK does anyone ever answer your phones? Twice this week over 30 minutes on hold and no answer. Can’t solve issue online, your chat agent couldn’t solve + I can’t pop into my local branch as you closed it!

Yes, it’s an utterly humiliating experience. Invasive questions at the best of times, but in a cost of living crisis?

    @HSBC_UK @BBCCiN Jesus a few hours without access to online banking and issues with card payments, if you rely on cards most people will carry more than 1 or don't rely on cards, it could happen to any bank at anytime.

    @georgephilipb @HSBC_UK And this is why I will never have online banking! Despite their nasty methods,having my card declined because my ‘bank details aren’t up to date’ when I try to make a purchase. Been a customer for 50+ years,atrocious service!
