    @tristan__palmer @HSBC_UK We use Revolut. It doesn't solve all our problems but it's a MASSIVELY better experience than HSBC, particularly with the international thing.

    @HSBC_UK Another angry customer here. Been locked out of all online banking, and because I've had too many 'failed attempts' at security questions, I can't do anything. Just stuck in an endless cycle of 'go to our website' followed by 'do this in the app'. I can't reset ANYTHING!

    @HSBC_UK After almost 40 years as a customer I have finally run out of patience with your atrocious service, waiting more than an hour so far today waiting for an agent to respond to me either on chat or phone to replace a secure key with a flat battery...

    @HSBC_UK Uninstalled, reinstalled yesterday working although won't allow fingerprint recognition to be set but, 24 hours later its back to being broken. Where is a link to the problem update and fix? World Class Shambles

    @sazcass @HSBC_UK @firstdirect and a staff member then rang First Direct to go through the security with me there. Was a real pain but everything I have done since has been conducted via chat and messages with no issues whatsoever 👍

    Has anyone else had problems with HSBC @HSBC_UK I have had repeated denials of making a future dated payment when there is sufficient capacity. Not good enough. Repeated error.

    @HSBC_UK We can’t visit a branch at the moment and you can’t open a joint account for one person - it would then be an individual account first. We want to switch our joint account from another provider but me being an existing individual customer seems to make that more difficult.

    @HSBC_UK I’ve been trying to order a debit card over the phone as power of attorney for 39 minutes now - why is it so difficult ? Did the same 3 weeks ago and it didn’t turn up ! You won’t let me do online banking ! Seriously it’s too hard ! #help

    @HSBC_UK For those who also have this problem. The solution is sadly to re-install the App and reset all your security (which requires actions online and if you get locked out,a phone call which thankfully is automated). If the App doesn't download, use mobile network rather than Wifi.

    @HSBC_UK It's Sarah you need to apologise to at the top of the thread. And the difficulty of making complaints is they take more time on top of the original problem, which if you're disabled/deaf happens almost every day... @sazcass

    @HSBC_UK An update to your app has caused it to crash on opening. Android 7.1.1 Sony Xperia Z5 Tried moving account over to my newer phone and I've managed to lock myself out, can't reset log in details because I can't access app to generate a security code on the older device.

    @HSBC_UK I've closed my account already. @monzo's customer service is better & more responsive (I waited weeks for help from HSBC) & their app is easier to use - the security features are sensible rather than unusable & Kafkaesque, so I've moved everything I had with HSBC over to them.

    Absolutely appalling levels of customer service with @hsbc_uk business banking -phone service over 1hour wait - but no responsiveness on the Chat app either. If you’re looking for a business account look elsewhere

    @HSBC_UK Do you actually read the posts? Don't point me to a password reset point me to actual information on the status of the app and the ongoing, many days now problems for android devices, I guess all the hsbc bigwigs are on apple

    @RyanDC @HSBC_UK Interesting - Have personal accounts with Starling and Revolut but not super keen on the idea for biz... Lack of phone line etc is a big concern in case of any issues which feel more likely with biz acc than personal I guess?

    Wasted 5 hours (and counting) of my day on hold to huge corporations (Microsoft and in particular @HSBC_UK who are absolutely dreadful). Still hiding behind Covid, still clearly working at home and as a result absolutely appalling customer care.

    @tristan__palmer @HSBC_UK Your circumstance could be totally different to mine, but I never once needed to call HSBC, or Starling. It's not like they don't have support either, whenever I;ve had issues on my personal account, (MonzO) in-app chat is fine.

    @HSBC_UK @davidmjp92 I've been sent a repair form requesting documents to verify my address in south africa. But can't load them on form. Help... I phoned bank 3 times but no one could help. I'm elderly so technology skills are limited

    @sazcass @HSBC_UK Not right. PayPal did that to me. I sued them. But suing is a lot of work. I'd probably complain and insist my issue was dealt with as a priority and they train their staff.

    @sazcass @HSBC_UK Santander are AWFUL! This is a bit silly @sazcass - complain - thought HSBC were quite aware of disabilities - they work with a lot of disabled charities! I know on my RNID days we worked with them!

    @HSBC_UK is your mobile app down? Its turned off my security settings and now wont allow me to log in. Done the usual stuff but im concerned that it turned off my biometrics and wouldnt allow me to turn back on before it stopped loading
