@HSBC_UK Hi, I’m not a customer but recd a fake text allegedly from HSBC about a security alert on my account and to click on a link. Clearly fake, taken a screen grab of text if your fraud team are interested?

@HSBC_UK Yes, online is the problem, what's wrong with face to face. I joined HSBC at the age of 4 with Griffin Savers, this experience has really knocked my confidence in your organisation. Bring back real people in banks, lots of people do want to and do not do online everything

@wmarybeard @HSBC_UK Try a new bank or building society. Nationwide are good. Or if you’re app minded Starling are excellent. Or you could kind of improve customer service and stay within ‘HSBC’ but switch to First Direct who also rate highly on customer service (compared to HSBC).

I finally spoke to a very nice lady at @HSBC_UK after 40 minutes. she claimed to have sorted my problem (which was just buying some euros), & told me to try again. But I got same 'bog off' message. Back to square one. (At this point I think I have been at this bank since 1971..)

Apple announces a security vulnerability; Urges all owners to update; Meanwhile @HSBC_UK would still neglect to support this (major) update due to their anti-consumer blocking shite.. Give them a month and you may be able to use the app again, if you're lucky.

@HSBC_UK trying to book an appointment online to attend local branch, got a message saying 'error' 'relaunch'. Called customer service, got someone in Asia hardly spoke English and hadn't a clue how to book me an appointment. Chat not working either. How dare you 😡
