@HSBC_UK Hi, I’m not a customer but recd a fake text allegedly from HSBC about a security alert on my account and to click on a link. Clearly fake, taken a screen grab of text if your fraud team are interested?

@HSBC_UK That’s not what the issue is, but it is the same issue. A transaction has been declined but funds are not yet released - the vendor has told me they have declined so NFA their end. I have proof it’s been declined. Still no “call back within 24hrs” promised on Monday

@HSBC_UK wish I could find out why you recalled a transaction I authorised over the phone two days ago but I can’t because you don’t take calls after 8pm and your app is broken again so no access to 24/7 chat function. Thanks for being terrible.

@HSBC_UK please let me speak to someone in your fraud department. I’ve been on this call 25 mins—been hung up on once and transferred 3 times. It should not be this hard. Your customer service is appalling.

@HSBC_UK 1/2.I understand all that. By forcing me onto digital key if I want to use the app means when the app goes down I lose all access to my accounts. Whereas currently using the physical key means when the app is down I can still use online banking.

Appalling service from @HSBC_UK closing account of local community group who now have no access to over £1200 that was in their account. The bank is being obstructive and unhelpful.

@HSBC_UK Just so that you know Bjorn. This number also won’t help me. They won’t issue a new telephone banking number. I have to physically take my mum to the bank to sort it out
