@HSBC_UK says they are closing branches because of decreased footfall. I am forced to travel several miles because they have closed the counter service at my local HSBC. I certainly didn't choose to do that.

@HSBC_UK @HSBC I’ve been a customer of HSBC (UK) for nearly 30 years, but the latest round of branch closures is the final straw. I’ll be closing my accounts and taking my business elsewhere. There are still excellent branch networks across the UK, sadly not the case with HSBC.

An hour on the phone with @HSBC_UK after mt account was blocked when making a payment WITHIN THE £25K LIMIT. They've hung up on me 4 times now and it's still unresolved. I'm moving my money and closing account as soon as I can get access to it. SHOCKING customer service.
