@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK To be fair my work bank with Metro and they not only answer the phone quickly without loads of menu options they actually help. The website isnt flashy but I do rate their customer service.

@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I’m not sure “raising a ticket” or speaking to customer services will help. The public want to speak to a human visit a local@branch and sea with real people. Seems a bit bigger than a customer services issue.

@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK Cust service surveys always show its the new banks that do best. Older banks have complex stoneage IT which is creaking at the seams. New 'challenger' banks have far more efficient client focused IT . Oil tanker versus a rowing boat if that makes sense?

@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK Been with them for a Looong time. If I need help I call the number, enter my security info & pretty soon I’m speaking to someone. Always found them really helpful. Got an “Advance” account so wondering if it’s based upon your account type?

@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I had an awful experience just attempting to speak to someone, anyone about renewing my mortgage which was already with them. Ended up remortgaging with someone else and closing my accounts after 22 years banking with them. Awful.

@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK Oh I went years ago, their online banking was dire, local branch closed Saturdays, then reduced hours to 10-4, impossible to get there if you work, then they fully closed the branch
