@L7_AFC @HSBC_UK I should clarify, I use PayPal as a method to withdraw from Coinbase (not to trade crypto, which I believe is only available on PayPal US). But tbh I just try and use exchanges that happily let me link my bank account, such as Binance. They also support Visa Direct.

@HSBC_UK what an absolute disgrace you are, trying to set up a current account for someone to access an account, and #hsbc #oswestry refuse to open one, sending us to telephone app, only to be told, the branch need to do it! Awful service, complaint compensation coming your way.

I have to say , as credit where it’s due, @HSBC_UK were unbelievably helpful this morning. I had issues with the app and my account & a lovely lady called Catherine talked me through. All sorted within a 30 minute window. Thank you .#talkaboutgoodcustomerserviceaswellasbad

Managed to solve my HelloFresh issue by finding head office people but still gobsmacked that @HSBC_UK only defence against fraud is cancelling your card. Which means frantically setting up all your financial commitments again before bills come out. Why do I need a a bank again?
