The bottom line, though, is that @hsbc_uk have really pissed me off over this. Not just time wasted, but a higher price paid because of their screwed up systems. I am very much not a satisfied customer.

So @HSBC_UK have just informed me that they are actively starting to block all payments to #crypto exchanges, specifically @cz_binance @binance to ‘protect’ their customers. Pubs and bookies fine. Crypto no.

The creeps at @HSBC_UK continue to block payments to @binance, despite multiple calls to inform them the payments are legitimate. #HSBC, the bank that was happy to launder cartel drug money has decided I can't spend a few hundred quid every now and again on #Crypto

@WalkerMarcus @cusackandrew I use cash all the time but don't get from @HSBC_UK cos they've abolished most counter service branches and I like specific notes and coins. There is only one between Ealing and Putney.

@HSBC_UK I am not a HSBC customer but I am receiving letters that are leading me to think that someone has fraudulently set up an account with you. Do you have a number I can call urgently as I can’t work it out from your website as it all seems existing-customer focused. Thanks.

I said to @HSBC_UK in a direct message that I'd do that, and that I'd try again tomorrow if that failed - and then ring them again if necessary. This is doubly annoying given this is the hotel for Wakefield - the same destination I had booking problems for last time.
