@thraxar @HSBC_UK Hiring more people defeats their philosophy of reducing staff, automating every aspect of banking to self-service while in turn slamming you with excessive fees to better line their pockets.... it seems to be the mantra of every bank.

@HSBC_UK I have and use an an account to help pay off the credit card debt my exwife raked up. I was a victim of domestic financial abuse. HSBC have not been very helpful. Almost impossible to speak to HSBC about it.

@HSBC_UK Years ago I was struggling with debt and went to my bank for help. They tried to sell me life insurance and used Jade Goody’s recent death as an example of what could happen to me. Never asked for help again. Thankfully I cleared my debts but that meeting stayed with me.
