No internet now for nearly a week and a half thanks to @Hyperoptic - repeatedly telling half truths or worse blatant lies about the fix timeline. Total disaster during the holidays. I can see hundreds of other unhappy customers affected taking to twitter too.

@louioo going round in circles talking to customer support about getting @Hyperoptic installed in our block of flats. Been given the runaround for the last 3 months being told installation is "90% complete, within the month" any help appreciated!

@wackiejalsh @richardbranson Nothing to do with him. Check if you can get @Hyperoptic though. If not try to get 4G broadband via Vodafone or 3. Oh and if it’s just wifi issues in a big house or a house with thick walls you’ll really need a better Wi-Fi system using mesh connections to multiple Wi-Fi points.

@Hyperoptic funny to see this the same day this ‘rock-solid’ hyperoptic connection is down in my area in London… and I am quite fed up about it like your ad says yep, especially since I need it for pretty much everything I do and there is no communication about what’s happening

@mikeapollo Sounds about right for those two providers. We failed to get traction re Virgin and Hyperoptic. We would have settled for FTTC, but lucked out when they installed FTTP out of the blue for us. Honestly these new 5G devices are surprising lot great, even in bad weather

Don’t just like my tweet @Hyperoptic, increase your service coverage, so that we don’t have to suffer providers like @virginmedia

@Hyperoptic Ditto on losing Internet access. Speaking with customer service ain't going to fix the issue. Have lost access twice in the span of two weeks, so think twice before committing.

For what it's worth @Hyperoptic broadband are a mess. Their customer service is stuck behind script-based responses, and out-dated notions of "compensation". Wasted a month (so far) offline, paying for services I can't use, a cost Hyperoptic demonstrably don't care about. Ugh!
