@Hyperoptic Ditto on losing Internet access. Speaking with customer service ain't going to fix the issue. Have lost access twice in the span of two weeks, so think twice before committing.

Anyone use hyperoptic and has your broadband gone down? The hyper optic chat is saying a power outage in their area
-
Nina Caplin (@nina_caplin) reported
@Hyperoptic You say rock solid, but my broadband has been down for over 14 hours now … your website says engineers are investigating but it’s getting a bit painful now
-
📻 David Lloyd (@DavidLloydRADIO) reported
@CryptoTolly Yes. Us! It works - but barely a signal. Hyperoptic phone not working. Presume a power failure affecting their end and thus our services

Okay so I was still confused as to why my internet literally just cut out halfway through stream so I've done a speedtest and I'm only getting a little over half my upload and download... @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS HALP

Rich Milligan (@kirbysimcox) reported
@Hyperoptic Your customer service and support is very poor today; been without your internet all day & it appears I was given false information regarding repairs. Now no one is responding to my online enquiry.

@mikeapollo Sounds about right for those two providers. We failed to get traction re Virgin and Hyperoptic. We would have settled for FTTC, but lucked out when they installed FTTP out of the blue for us. Honestly these new 5G devices are surprising lot great, even in bad weather

James Beesley (@gumbinio) reported
@Hyperoptic Lost my internet signal over an hour ago and I’ve tried to contact you through the live chat, email and the 24/7 phone number which never rings, I would like some explanation for this please and don’t you dare say bloody covid as an excuse!
-
Andrew Moore (@KLMatsalleh) reported
@virginmedia your are down in DA8 - now beginning 3rd year working at home - only been here for 6 months & more downtime than ever compared to @Hyperoptic - not helping me@when I have an afternoon of calls! 😡
-
Mehdidi (@Oueldelhouma) reported
@Hyperoptic funny to see this the same day this ‘rock-solid’ hyperoptic connection is down in my area in London… and I am quite fed up about it like your ad says yep, especially since I need it for pretty much everything I do and there is no communication about what’s happening

Tom Wuhsterio ⚒ (@Tom_Wuh) reported
@Rasta4292 @Hyperoptic I’m we have the same problem and my flatmate starts working from home tomorrow! The line to call them is dead!
-
Chetan Upadhyay (@aafaak) reported
@HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic Looks like support teams are not aligned internally, you wrote in a dm that on 31st there is planned maintenance in my zone and I just received a reply on ticket where support team is eager to conclude the issue by saying they don't see a problem. Funny.

@Hyperoptic any ETA on service being restored? Internet has been down for an hour now
-
Soumya Dasgupta (@themanutdmaniac) reported
What’s wrong with @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS ? Continuous drops through the day and now total outage !
-
Kieran McHugh (@kieranmch) reported
@jami__jami__ @jstn I don't think ISPs in the UK would have an issue with this. You would need a static IP address though (not common, Hyperoptic charge extra) and to configure port forwarding to the raspberry pi. It carries some security risk (your home network being DOS'd).

Cal Hallows (@Calomile) reported
@louioo going round in circles talking to customer support about getting @Hyperoptic installed in our block of flats. Been given the runaround for the last 3 months being told installation is "90% complete, within the month" any help appreciated!

@Tom_Wuh @Rasta4292 @Hyperoptic Having the same issue. Phone line also down for me.
-

@Hyperoptic damn, we running a nostalgia night or something? Haven’t dipped below 5mbps since the dark days of AOL
-
Remnant Circus (@atsukopearce) reported
@Hyperoptic unbelievable still no internet from Christmas and now telling us no other support till 7th new year. Also no Compensation holiday time. So our Christmas and new year no internet doesn’t matter for your company.

Don’t just like my tweet @Hyperoptic, increase your service coverage, so that we don’t have to suffer providers like @virginmedia
-
Nxthxn (@NathanCraig_9) reported
@Hyperoptic Once again no estimated time scales for the issue to be resolved. As polite and understanding as the service agents are, it is incredibly frustrating to be left with no Wifi for over 8 days now with no timeframe as to when it will be available...
-
Graham Cox (@grahamcox82) reported
@Hyperoptic Does your HA-140W-B router have any option to partition off certain devices? We're looking to get a wi-fi doorbell and I'd like for it to not be able to access the rest of the local network for security - as it's going to be physically accessible from outside. Cheers

Eslam Yousri (@eyousri) reported
@HyperopticCS I am wondering. How come a big company like hyperoptic can not fix the issue till now. 100 subscribers does not have internet for almost 10 days and support and customer care is informing that there is no estimated time to get issue fixed !!!!!!!
-
Mustafa Shairani (@mshairani) reported
@HyperopticCS All my neighbours in Wantage who use Hyperoptic have lost internet, is tht related to your power outage issue & if so I would imagine an ISP ensuring redundancy for power supplies
-
James Barber (@JamesJBarber) reported
It’s now been a week and still no @Hyperoptic wi-fi. Been told there was a power outage but in reality seems like no one can be bothered from #hyperoptic to fix it. Think it’s time to start looking for a more reliable & trustworthy broadband provider. Any suggestions?

4 hours, 12 minutes and counting trying to get @virginmedia CS to resolve my issue. Last time it took nearly 12 hours on the phone across 4 days. @Hyperoptic please come to my area. I miss you.

Is there worse customer care than at @Hyperoptic cause for 6 months every month my direct debit gets removed and no one can tell me why 👍🏻
-
Nxthxn (@NathanCraig_9) reported
@Hyperoptic very disappointed with the service which has left me with no broadband for the past 4 days. No one able to give an expected timeframe within which a solution to be found. Incredibly frustrating. Have 1 extra day of patience but then I will be switching providers…

@wackiejalsh @richardbranson Nothing to do with him. Check if you can get @Hyperoptic though. If not try to get 4G broadband via Vodafone or 3. Oh and if it’s just wifi issues in a big house or a house with thick walls you’ll really need a better Wi-Fi system using mesh connections to multiple Wi-Fi points.
