Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@Hyperoptic Still no Internet since 13:30 11th June. They have advised they now have access to where the problem is but no detail on how long it will be until repaired
-
SazSpeaks (@Trouble1986) reported
@YusufMi49118545 @Hyperoptic Diabolical….the worst
-
Mikeapollo (@mikeapollo) reported
@au_pis_aller @Plusnet @Hyperoptic Yup. First time in ages, but the new DNS capture technique is very unpleasant when your gateway "trusts" your ISP - as everything that touched that gateway gets a redirect, then roams to a different network (me) where it updates the DNS based on the "trusted" gateway. Result: 💥
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@Hyperoptic Not if the lost connection problem is fixed. No service since 11th June
-
Chris Ellery (@chris_ellery) reported
@HyperopticCS @jesslinehan Any updates? Hyperoptic seems to be down for most of east London.
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@Hyperoptic Still no Internet and no advice on what is happening, or when the service should be restored.
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@Hyperoptic Internet down. No advice of the failure and still down from 13:30 11th June. Appalling customer services and no details of how long it will be down. Awfully poor customer services when there is a problem
-
David McArthur (@DrDPMcArthur) reported
A surprising aspect of the pandemic for me is how awful so many people's internet connection is. Even when they are paying a lot of money. Thank goodness @Hyperoptic came to my building a couple of years ago so I didn't have to suffer any more.
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@DrDPMcArthur @Hyperoptic Okay until there is a loss of signal. Lost Internet 13:30 11th June and not available until 18:00 14th June. Had terrible trouble with their tech help and wasted so much time on hold it was an awful service when there are problems
-
axdddm (@axddm) reported
@HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic We have no service since yesterday evening in the Maidenhill area G77, when is service likely to be restored ? I have seen no updates since the outage began...
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@Hyperoptic @EURO2020 When they have service problems the customer services are hopeless
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@HyperopticCS Would not recommend Hyperoptic. Where there are problems, trying to find out when the Internet will work again is a nightmare. Age on phone holding and cannot offer timeframes when it will be repaired
-
Sean Newhouse (@Sean_Newhouse) reported
@Hyperoptic It's now been over 5 weeks since you sent the wrong engineer to install my broadband, and you still haven't rescheduled the appointment or even given any real explanation as to why you haven't done so. What gives? Will I ever get service? #WFH #CustomerService
-
Jacobs Basil The Third (III) 🤙🏾 (@bjacobs14) reported
@HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic my internet has been down for over an hour now and I have been on hold for a while on the phone trying to connect to an agent I can speak to, to resolve this issue.
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@HyperopticCS No Internet since 11th June 13:30 & conflicting information from Hyperoptic. Seems they cannot access equipment as council owned. Seems unless Internet goes down Mon to Fri during office hours the can't fix it.
-
Liam (@liambarker) reported
@jacobjtcoley @virginmedia Poor customer service was the reason I left. Can you get hyperoptic in your area? They’ve been great
-
Sean Newhouse (@Sean_Newhouse) reported
@HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic Disappointed in your customer service. You still haven't given me any real information about the reason for the huge delay or (even more importantly) when my installation will occur. #WFH #CustomerService

Kittyheaven (@chibiminion) reported
@CCriadoPerez @bt_uk Lots of people recommended Zen and they have been very helpful. If it’s full fibre then the others we talked to were giganet and hyperoptic I think. Both Zen and Giganet were able to get a connection issue sorted very quickly when BT just shrugged.
-
Jacob Briggs (@JacobSTBriggs) reported
@tashintrainers @Hyperoptic Scheduled maintenance this morning is still ongoing, outage was meant to end at 1pm but it looks like its still down at 4pm. I guess they hit problems?
-
Peter (@peterwroot) reported
@Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS Woke up this morning and my internet is down, no link light on my router and it's not getting an address from DHCP. On the phone to your CS line now but I'm on hold.
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@Hyperoptic Warning to potential customers. Service has been down from 13:30 11th June and they can't access the equipment to even investigate the problem until Monday 14th June. If you rely on connection, these are not an option I'd recommend
-
David McArthur (@DrDPMcArthur) reported
@tommo_68 @Hyperoptic That doesn't sound good. I did end up using my own router rather than the one they supplied. It didn't give a very strong signal.
-
Bnd (@Bnd14860104) reported
@Hyperoptic More than one month I’m waiting for the installation. Bad service!
-
Nicholas Humfrey (@njh) reported
@ZenInternetHelp That will be why I couldn’t get it to work then! Lots of other ISPs now have IPv6 enabled by default (eg BT, Sky, Hyperoptic, AAISP). Why not Zen? I’m sure someone could help, if you are having difficulty with something? cc @UKIPv6Council

Adam Fallon (@adam__fallon) reported
Hyperoptic down again. Sigh.
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@Hyperoptic Our Internet has been down since 13:30 11th June. Engineering finally turned up at 18:30 12th June and now needs to be fixed at another location. If Hyperoptic had taken action yesterday it might have been sorted by now. Appalling services. Don't touch them
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@Hyperoptic Again, anyone using another ISP. Internet failure from 13:30 11th June. Just got off the phone as engineers claiming tried yesterday but didn't turn up. Claiming damage to cabinet today and at my block trying to fix it but wasn't here.
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@Hyperoptic @EURO2020 Only winner is people with another ISP. Advised after a 5+ hour outage that it is fixed but still no Internet. Staff lie and are rude. Okay as long as you don't need to contact customer services and there is no service outage
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported
@Hyperoptic Awful service when things go wrong. Don't touch them. Others may be slower but never had this sort of problem elsewhere
-
Benjamin Houy (@BenjaminHouy) reported
@Kirsty_Hulse @zigojacko @TalkTalk I wish I could go back to Hyperoptic! So much faster and cheaper. And as far as I know they don’t harass people who cancel.
