Kurt Robson (@KurtRobsonn) reportedGot through to @Hyperoptic, biggest network outage ever apparently. They can’t provide any timeframe for reconnection but said they hope it’s fixed within ‘48 hours.’ Surely we need compensation if this lasts longer than a few hours wtaf
-
lord of eko (@tommedersfriend) reported@hyperoptic my internet is still down.
-
James Nicholls (@jamesjnicholls) reported@SanchoMagnifico @Hyperoptic It's totally unacceptable. We used to be on Virgin Media and whilst their service was mostly crap, they at least provided regular updates for outages!
-
Imaan Ahmed (@Imaan_Ahmed) reported@Hyperoptic have the worst customer service team - they make you wait hours on the call then ignore your query & request to speak to managers / callbacks & hang up on you & the same people handle the support inbox so you can’t actually issue a legit complaint #hyperoptic
-
Jesse Redman (@LFCBiiiiiiiitch) reported@Hyperoptic you are down
-
SmileyGFace (@SmileyGFace1) reported@Hyperoptic Your post states that I can contact Customer Support via the online chat but when I try, I get an everlasting waiting to respond signal. I can see how embarrassing it is for your lack of customer support to be advertised on social media. Not a good advert, is it?
-
πι (@TheThreepoint14) reported@Hyperoptic “keeping your network super fast” should not be done at our expense . For the gazilionth time you do maintenance and shutting down of services ( 2 hours this time ) during working hours . “Informed you so you can find alternatives” is not acceptable
-
SanchoMagnifico (@SanchoMagnifico) reported@stuarthazeldine @Hyperoptic I’ll also be reporting them to Ofcom if they don’t update this statement on their site: Reliability: Full fibre is the UK’s most reliable broadband tech, giving you a 99.9% reliable network you can count on. This is a blatant lie and false advertising.
-
Copious cups of tea (@Iron_B__) reportedReceived the most disgusting “service” from @Hyperoptic this evening. Called to discuss a cancellation fee being applied unfairly only to have my time wasted by the most awful person deliberately going round in circles trying to avoid the subject. Disgusting.

ravish (@rravilla24) reported@Hyperoptic Here’s a simple but firm X post you can use: @Hyperoptic broadband down since this morning. no update. No reply to email or chat, and your phone lines. This is unacceptable for a service I rely on for work. I need an urgent update, fix and info on compensation.
