And of course no update. Shocking customer service from @Hyperoptic and @HyperopticCS . 3 updates in 24 hours for an issue affecting 100s of accounts is not acceptable.
-
aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England
Any news on the NW9 internet outage as it enters hour 27 @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS ? The engineer has been on site for 3 hours now and your email said it would be fixed by 530 pm and it’s now after 7pm? An update that contained some information would be a good start.
-
Kapali (@chawlakapali) reported from London, England
@Hyperoptic u have increased yearly commitment contract prices by 25% !!!! But for a new customer who starts with Hyperoptic can still avail the same price I was paying last year. This is insane ! Why this disparity between old and new customer? Plus you hold monopoly in my area.

Veracious Rex ✊🏾 🇧🇧 Smiley 🟠⛅ (@SonOfCarl) reported from Harrow Weald, England
Hyperopic is down. Circa 11pm. Appreciate the service but it would be nice if their Comms was better in moments like this. Even a template email would be better than having to trawl Twitter for answers #Hyperopticdown @Hyperoptic
-
Henry (@erossiniuk) reported from Wandsworth, England
@Hyperoptic you promise an activation in 15 minutes. There are 5 days I’m waiting for it without any explanation. If this is the beginning, what could it happen when I am a customer? #badfeeling
-
aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England
So @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS and idea if the service is going to come back on in London today? Also it would be a good idea to update your service indicator on your website in line with what your CS is explaining on the live chat.

Alex Pasfield (@The_Stockboy) reported from London, England
@gregpower @Hyperoptic In all honesty it has been great for a number of years. But I’m the last couple of months they seem to have hit problems. This is the second time I have experienced a major outage with them.
-
Henry (@erossiniuk) reported from Wandsworth, England
@Hyperoptic engineering works between 9 and 11. Basically, I don’t have internet and I can’t work. After a rocky start, this is another bad situation. Why don’t you do this jobs during the night?
-
Gabor (@GaborPfalzer) reported from Kensington, England
@BigupJeff @virginmedia Yeah, unfortunately. We are okay with the service, that’s why we kept it in the new one, but the customer service is a joke. Had @Hyperoptic once, was absolutely brilliant. Too bad it’s rarely available.

@Hyperoptic is there any update on when service will be restored to SE10 customers? Or at least when an engineer can be expected on-site?
-
Henry (@erossiniuk) reported from Wandsworth, England
@Hyperoptic not only the internet connection is down but also my Wi-Fi at home is down 🤬 what kind of engineering works are you doing?
-
aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England
So will @HyperopticCS or @Hyperoptic update the residents of Beaufort park NW9 as to what’s actually happening with the outage or will they just ignore us again and slink off for the evening? I’m going for the latter.
-
Dr Agnes Arnold-Forster (@agnesjuliet) reported from Camberwell, England
I can’t work from home today because my @Hyperoptic wifi has now been broken for nine days, I can’t cycle because it’s too hot, and the only form of air conditioned public transport is on a restricted service 😔
-
Alex (@AlexRM) reported from Camberwell, England
Hey @Hyperoptic I’ve just spent over an hour waiting to speak to someone in your Support team when the line hung up. Not impressed. Still waiting for my newly installed internet to start work. It’s now been 48 hours after install and still nothing…
-
Gezgin Kiz (@hamidetekin) reported from Stratford, England
Our internet is not working at least for an hour! Can you provide an update @Hyperoptic
-
Kapali (@chawlakapali) reported from London, England
@HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic And being in customer support you should have some respect for GDPR. That’s the reason I did not post people’s names. I have their full addresses with@post code if only u cared to DM n ask. #unethicalHyperoptic

@Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS I'm not too sure how you expect me to be able to work from when your internet service breaks in my flat and the soonest you can send an engineer out is in 2 weeks. Terrible service and infrastructure, would definitely not recommended hyperopic!

@IamLinguistics I had so many issues with Sky internet. Was quick but would drop out intermittently quite often...a nightmare for cod. If supplied for your new address try Hyperoptic, 150 up/down for £29 p/m

@DinzedFPS Hyperoptic are the way forward if they cover your area. I used to get 900mb download and 450 ish upload back at my flat. Unfortunately don’t cover me where I am now though. Great customer service and never had any issues.

I hear stories like this all the time, never thought it would happen to me. After 3 months of working for @Hyperoptic I got called into the office this morning and told I no longer had my job all because I stood up for myself in a incident with a manager 2 weeks ago
