  • The_Stockboy
Alex Pasfield (@The_Stockboy) reported from London, England

@Hyperoptic is there any update on when service will be restored to SE10 customers? Or at least when an engineer can be expected on-site?

  • hamidetekin
Gezgin Kiz (@hamidetekin) reported from Stratford, England

@JustAnAntiDepp1 @Hyperoptic No, still not working for me

  • agnesjuliet
Dr Agnes Arnold-Forster (@agnesjuliet) reported from Camberwell, England

I can’t work from home today because my @Hyperoptic wifi has now been broken for nine days, I can’t cycle because it’s too hot, and the only form of air conditioned public transport is on a restricted service 😔

  • hamidetekin
Gezgin Kiz (@hamidetekin) reported from Stratford, England

Our internet is not working at least for an hour! Can you provide an update @Hyperoptic

  • thekuntz69
aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

And of course no update. Shocking customer service from @Hyperoptic and @HyperopticCS . 3 updates in 24 hours for an issue affecting 100s of accounts is not acceptable.

  • Gianluca_Leo
LUCA (@Gianluca_Leo) reported from Barnet, England

    FYI, never use @Hyperoptic

  • Gianluca_Leo
LUCA (@Gianluca_Leo) reported from Barnet, England

@turna_music @Hyperoptic Had my installation pushed back twice weeks apart with unhelpful people on CS - just been the worst

  • The_Stockboy
Alex Pasfield (@The_Stockboy) reported from London, England

@gregpower @Hyperoptic In all honesty it has been great for a number of years. But I’m the last couple of months they seem to have hit problems. This is the second time I have experienced a major outage with them.

  • erossiniuk
Henry (@erossiniuk) reported from Wandsworth, England

@Hyperoptic you promise an activation in 15 minutes. There are 5 days I’m waiting for it without any explanation. If this is the beginning, what could it happen when I am a customer? #badfeeling

  • chawlakapali
Kapali (@chawlakapali) reported from London, England

@Hyperoptic u have increased yearly commitment contract prices by 25% !!!! But for a new customer who starts with Hyperoptic can still avail the same price I was paying last year. This is insane ! Why this disparity between old and new customer? Plus you hold monopoly in my area.

  • thekuntz69
aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

Any news on the NW9 internet outage as it enters hour 27 @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS ? The engineer has been on site for 3 hours now and your email said it would be fixed by 530 pm and it’s now after 7pm? An update that contained some information would be a good start.

  • SonOfCarl
Veracious Rex ✊🏾 🇧🇧 Smiley 🟠⛅ (@SonOfCarl) reported from Harrow Weald, England

Hyperopic is down. Circa 11pm. Appreciate the service but it would be nice if their Comms was better in moments like this. Even a template email would be better than having to trawl Twitter for answers #Hyperopticdown @Hyperoptic

  • kalpitha_reddy
Kalpitha Reddy (@kalpitha_reddy) reported from Poplar, England

@Hyperoptic any timeframe on when the Wi-Fi issues will be resolved please. It’s been fairly 14+ hours since the outage in Canary Wharf.

  • AlexRM
Alex (@AlexRM) reported from Camberwell, England

Hey @Hyperoptic I’ve just spent over an hour waiting to speak to someone in your Support team when the line hung up. Not impressed. Still waiting for my newly installed internet to start work. It’s now been 48 hours after install and still nothing…

  • Fursecroft
Fursecroft (@Fursecroft) reported from Paddington, England

@Hyperoptic service is intermittent in the w1h 5lf area

  • heyoncar
ON🚀 (@heyoncar) reported from Romford, England

@Hyperoptic is the worst when it comes internet service providers. Even after activating my plan its been more than 18hours and yet I dont have access to internet

  • thekuntz69
aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

So will @HyperopticCS or @Hyperoptic update the residents of Beaufort park NW9 as to what’s actually happening with the outage or will they just ignore us again and slink off for the evening? I’m going for the latter.

  • SimonMonger
Simon Monger, SCMP (He/Him) (@SimonMonger) reported from Poplar, England

@Hyperoptic are there any known problems in E14? Broadband running slow for lots of people in Wardian London...

  • thekuntz69
aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

So @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS and idea if the service is going to come back on in London today? Also it would be a good idea to update your service indicator on your website in line with what your CS is explaining on the live chat.

  • SOCYearwood

@Hyperoptic #10YearsOfHyperoptic Virginmedia and BT couldn't provide a reliable service. Hyperoptic could.

Played my first game of Fifa on the new business internet last night (against Itani on his hyperoptic) And when I pressed pass... THEY PASSED!!! 🤯🤯🤯 I conceded a stupid rebound goal because it’s still Fifa, but it honestly felt like I was playing a completely different game

  • mel____z_n

Yo @Hyperoptic - my internet has been down all day, still not coming back online - really, really need this sorted as no one in the house has been able to work

  • RSPshout
    RomanS 🇬🇧🇪🇺 (@RSPshout) reported

@rudybonnier @HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic 48 hour loss of service. Seems like something very suspicious is going on given going down bang on 20:30 everyday but they denied anything deceitful going on. Maybe someone on the building surging it everyday at 20:30. This is the building beside the pub and the dock ;)

  • newspics
    Equinox Features (@newspics) reported

25hrs so far with a total loss of #broadband service frm @vmbusiness #VirginMedia missed deadlines for restoring service Cust svcs are useless, can’t give any meaningful updates, manager hasn’t called back as promised. Sooner we can move to @GNetworkComms / @Hyperoptic the better

  • Kyleyuu
    Kyle 'Olly' Walker (@Kyleyuu) reported

Utterly disappointed with @Hyperoptic and @HyperopticCS team. Due to unfortunate circumstances out of my control I’ve had to terminate my fixed term contract as the landlord has sold the property and source last minute accommodation. Now charged with a hefty cancellation fee!

  • DrNickHazel
    Dr Nick Hazel (@DrNickHazel) reported

Just got another email from @Hyperoptic saying my service will now be down for another 3 hours on the day before. What is going on @HyperopticCS? Should I be looking for a new broadband supplier? Speed is important but is useless without a reliable service.

  • Egg_Chef
    Peter Smith (@Egg_Chef) reported

@DrNickHazel @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS I had a similar horrible experience 3 years ago when there were 5 planned and one unplanned outages within 3 months so started monitoring my connection with UptimeRobot. In the intervening three years it has reported 0 seconds downtime (and yes, it is working). Not a bad record!

  • DanBell1
    Dan Bell (@DanBell1) reported

******… @virginmedia is the most frustrating example of market failure. They have a natural monopoly and their service is absolutely terrible. I’ve been a customer for 10 years but I cannot wait to switch away. Please @Hyperoptic @WeAreOpenreach service our area in KT11. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

  • FriendlyShutter
    Friendly Shutter (@FriendlyShutter) reported

@Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS How dumb of you guys to call yourselves ''UK's fastest hyperfast broadband'' when the customer has been repeatedly complaining about ''UK's slowest hyperslow broadband''.

  • BarralBea
    Beatriz Barral (@BarralBea) reported

@Hyperoptic we have been experiencing an outage since Friday and no change whatsoever due to access to the building... what is the status for today? How soon will this be resolved? We need wifi to work remotely !!
