@Hyperoptic u have increased yearly commitment contract prices by 25% !!!! But for a new customer who starts with Hyperoptic can still avail the same price I was paying last year. This is insane ! Why this disparity between old and new customer? Plus you hold monopoly in my area.

@SamPallis @Hyperoptic They’ve said they’ll call but nothing yet. We don’t know how many residents have signed up but it was pushed heavily via direct mail. We need to know what they mean by suspended. @Hyperoptic have covered the estate in wires so they must either use them or take them down.

@jeffsprogress @virginmedia @Hyperoptic I was with Hyperoptic for 4 years, not a single outage I can recall. Swapped to Virgin Media last autumn because they offered a cheaper and better deal. Had nothing but problems since. And now they have the temerity to hike the bills. When I can swap back to Hyperoptic, I will.

@Hyperoptic is there any update on when service will be restored to SE10 customers? Or at least when an engineer can be expected on-site?
-
Stamford Hill Estate
(@FOSHgardens) reported
from

From @Hyperoptic “At this moment we cannot take installation orders on this site. While the system showed it as a live site (and it will be) it showed it prematurely. We will have to mark this site down, as we cannot finish the installation of service.”

@Hyperoptic @nokia Unlike the other unhappy customers here, I think this is great! I've been a customer for 5 years and didn't realise you were running FP4. I worked on both FP4 & 5 so it's cool to see a customer enjoying our backwards compatibility. #dogfooding

@Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS Okay, you might have some grace period of 30 days, when you first sign the contract, to be able to cancel it, then you’re on your own. @hyperoptic Please correct me if I’m wrong. Happy to chat about it! Not renewing this year, nor ever.

@Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS See the problem with these contracts is if you sign for £35/m for 24m, and after a couple of days you loose connection for 2 weeks and is unable to WFH - you are trapped. You can’t just switch to another provider, first you have to pay £450 in this inst.
