I can’t work from home today because my @Hyperoptic wifi has now been broken for nine days, I can’t cycle because it’s too hot, and the only form of air conditioned public transport is on a restricted service 😔

@JamesLeeC @Hyperoptic Wow. This is actually the first of heard of bad service from them. They must be better at hiding than most.

Hey @Hyperoptic I’ve just spent over an hour waiting to speak to someone in your Support team when the line hung up. Not impressed. Still waiting for my newly installed internet to start work. It’s now been 48 hours after install and still nothing…

@jamesjnicholls @Hyperoptic That’s because Virgin have an actual team behind them. Hyperoptic service center is probably run out of some clown’s basement.

  • Csorba1Csorba
    Zoltan Csorba (@Csorba1Csorba) reported

@Hyperoptic Ongoing outage since 11:30 yesterday at E3 4RW. Still no service or updates after almost 24 hours. Please investigate and provide an ETA.

  • Barney246
    Carl Barney Hirschson (@Barney246) reported

If you are ever considering @Hyperoptic as your ISP, reconsider immediately. I signed up a month ago, my line drops 3-4 times a week and I have collectively spent 5-10 hours trying to connect and troubleshoot with their support team. Status today: no internet again.

  • Imaan_Ahmed
    Imaan Ahmed (@Imaan_Ahmed) reported

@Hyperoptic have the worst customer service team - they make you wait hours on the call then ignore your query & request to speak to managers / callbacks & hang up on you & the same people handle the support inbox so you can’t actually issue a legit complaint #hyperoptic

  • janaka_a
    Janaka Abeywardhana (@janaka_a) reported

@Hyperoptic we have an outage in E14 in our building. multiple residents including myself.

  • cachecrab

  • jamesjnicholls
    James Nicholls (@jamesjnicholls) reported

@SanchoMagnifico @Hyperoptic It's totally unacceptable. We used to be on Virgin Media and whilst their service was mostly crap, they at least provided regular updates for outages!

  • Makssss_O
    Maks (@Makssss_O) reported

Waited four days for my hyperoptic router only for it to arrive and there’s a fault somewhere in my flat and can’t get an engineer till next week. Wouldn’t have been the worst thing but O2 has next to no signal so I’m basically stuck in the stone ages in this flat.

  • SanchoMagnifico
    SanchoMagnifico (@SanchoMagnifico) reported

@stuarthazeldine @Hyperoptic I’ll also be reporting them to Ofcom if they don’t update this statement on their site: Reliability: Full fibre is the UK’s most reliable broadband tech, giving you a 99.9% reliable network you can count on. This is a blatant lie and false advertising.
