Hi @virginmedia I’ve had your broadband now for 18 years. It’s been down for 30 hours now and your inept staff can’t find my account, but you keep sending me service updates. Please get a bloody grip. @Hyperoptic is looking pretty good right now.

@jeffsprogress @virginmedia @Hyperoptic Starlink from a satellite! So even when the power goes down, you don't!😜🥰

@Hyperoptic customer support really need some work. Internet down more than a week and still no realistic time frame to get it fixed! Sure to say I won't be renewing the contract.

@Hyperoptic hi, are your phone lines down? I’m trying to activate my broadband and none of the numbers I’m using are connecting including 0333 332 1111. Help please!

@Swindyyyy @virginmedia We only got @CommunityFibre access this year after waiting for years for G Network and Hyperoptic delaying over and over. And it's been a genuine night and day difference. The random DNS dropouts and widespread issues are over.

  • GlueWhichBinds Mark Kelly (@GlueWhichBinds) reported from Walthamstow, England

@jeffsprogress @virginmedia @Hyperoptic I was with Hyperoptic for 4 years, not a single outage I can recall. Swapped to Virgin Media last autumn because they offered a cheaper and better deal. Had nothing but problems since. And now they have the temerity to hike the bills. When I can swap back to Hyperoptic, I will.

  • PanJamGames Jacqueline (@PanJamGames) reported

@no_name_964480 @virginmedia If its available in your area. Hyperoptic. They're the best Internet we've ever had. Both in service provided, and customer service. I seriously can't recommend them enough.

@Pijinnn_ nah they dont pay if you cancel, the deal is you sign up with them after your contract ends and theyll give you free internet till it ends. I know my mate is on month 5 of free hyperoptic internet, and as someone that used it for 5 years in glasgow, it never went down once!

  • Pijinnn_ PIJINNN (@Pijinnn_) reported

@etsKi_ Ah so I could cancel then use hyperopic during my cool off period with VM before I sign up again for a better deal? Or would it include switching to hyperoptic
