@virginmedia @Hyperoptic I’ve switched my virgin services to hyper optic on 11/2 virgin has been billing me since 11/2 and refusing to cancel the account without a minimum payment of £140. I’m not willing to pay money for services I haven’t used!! It’s unfair!!

  • DragulianTweet パズズ (@DragulianTweet) reported

@Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS I’ve contacted you here at 10:30 and you acknowledged there was an outage. Tech coming at 11:30. Since then I reached out at 12:30, 13:30 and now 14:30 asking for an update on the broadband outage resolution or information. You continue to ignore. Why?

  • milade07 .... (@milade07) reported

@Hyperoptic please can we get some details about the internet issues going on today?

  • HowdyHeree Hordy (@HowdyHeree) reported

@SleepySiouxsie @virginmedia Hey hey!! I'm with Sky, it's not the fastest but it's solid as heck. Only had a couple of issues a few months back and in November as it crashed for an hour or so during a 24 hour stream! Also heard reaaallyy good things about Hyperoptic too, they're like 500mbs up and down!

  • Ethanmayer1 Ethan mayer (@Ethanmayer1) reported

@LewishamCouncil can you work with @Hyperoptic to get their service to Tanners Hill Please, because @virginmedia are just ripping people off. The prices for the packages are to high. They have a monopoly on the area. There needs to be competition!

  • IanGCVS Ian Bruce (@IanGCVS) reported

@ThirdSectorLab Hyperoptic also offer 'Fair Fibre' home broadband, good speed, unlimited data, no installation fee, no contract, £15 a month for people on certain benefits (tho not everyone can get their service). Guessing other providers do something similar.
