@Hyperoptic development wide internet issue you won't acknowledge. Engineer today quoted "at least you have internet". Appalling customer service! We pay for 1gb and are getting 30mb! #sortitout #appallingcustomerservice #hyperoptic

@Swindyyyy @virginmedia We only got @CommunityFibre access this year after waiting for years for G Network and Hyperoptic delaying over and over. And it's been a genuine night and day difference. The random DNS dropouts and widespread issues are over.

  • suddenlyjoseph Joseph Martin (@suddenlyjoseph) reported

Alright gays - what Virgin alternative fibre only, no phone line required, internet service providers can I look at with comparable speeds pls? Community Fibre and Hyperoptic aren’t in my area yet. Currently supposed to get gigabit speeds…

In my opinion complete collapse of Hyperoptic support today, lost connectivity at 5AM BST, filed ticket, no reply until 1PM

@Hyperoptic customer support really need some work. Internet down more than a week and still no realistic time frame to get it fixed! Sure to say I won't be renewing the contract.

@virginmedia You could learn a thing or two from @Hyperoptic . Undoubtedly the best provider i've ever had. Too bad they are not in my area otherwise i would never picked you.

  • DJGaryBaldy DJGaryBaldy (@DJGaryBaldy) reported

@BrianGameyGamin @virginmedia I ditched them after 10 years of bad customer service I'm now with HyperOptic and I don't have anywhere near the outages I used to have. I've had 2 that I can think of in 16 months and one of them wasn't their fault.

  • GlueWhichBinds Mark Kelly (@GlueWhichBinds) reported from Walthamstow, England

@jeffsprogress @virginmedia @Hyperoptic I was with Hyperoptic for 4 years, not a single outage I can recall. Swapped to Virgin Media last autumn because they offered a cheaper and better deal. Had nothing but problems since. And now they have the temerity to hike the bills. When I can swap back to Hyperoptic, I will.

@Hyperoptic are you services down in KT19?

  • distortionxxxx Distortionxxxx (@distortionxxxx) reported

@virginmedia There's one Virgin company going under at the moment, hopefully this one will go down too with them when alternatives start to appear in wider areas such as @Hyperoptic and @CommunityFibre who all provide a far better service for less money, fancy that!
