whoops BT Openreach arriving tomorrow to install my @AAISP gfast just realised my building is wired for 1Gbps hyperoptic but it's probably too late to cancel without a hefty openreach fee

  • MattBoy93903960 Matt Boyer (@MattBoy93903960) reported

@Hyperoptic I requested a call back 2 hours ago and still radio silence. Awful customer service. Can someone contact me ASAP

  • ryancdotorg Ryan Castellucci (@ryancdotorg) reported

@attiegrande I actually mentioned in my order notes that I would prefer handoff to be a SFP/SFP+ module and that I know what I'm doing. Hyperoptic was nice, though I had to do weird **** to my DHCP client config to make it work. With AT&T, I productionized an 802.1x MitM

  • susanalsafizzle Susan Al-Safadi (@susanalsafizzle) reported

@Hyperoptic our broadband went down over 48 hours ago. Your customer service has been of no help. Really enjoyed leaving Virgin Media for you but it seems your service is the same.

  • ben_mackrell Ben Mackrell (@ben_mackrell) reported

@Hyperoptic any chance I can get some internet please guys? Customer service would be appreciated.

@Zero_RVL @MarcBurrage @nintendolife Non gamers presumably… Just checked the link and it’s to HyperOptic, which is a broadband company I’ve never heard of. I think it’s a bit dodgy that Nintendo Life have published the article based on the above…Paid promo, without them saying so perhaps?

  • MattBoy93903960 Matt Boyer (@MattBoy93903960) reported

@PancakePete00 @martinbean @AskPS_UK I’m having the same issue and with Hyperoptic, have they said if it’s to do with them?

  • sedielem Sander Dieleman (@sedielem) reported

@Hyperoptic Please come and save us from Virgin Media in London N10! They effectively have a monopoly here, because competitors only offer up to 60Mbps. I've been a customer since July and I'm considering a downgrade to be rid of them. Many neighbours are also fed up after recent outages.

  • ChrisKernachan Christopher Kernachan (@ChrisKernachan) reported

@Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS Is there any update on when internet will be restored in G51 4NQ? And where is the power outage affecting it please?

@Hyperoptic Well, things are bad in Elsie Land when even the faithful Glenn Campbell is putting her on the spot.
