@virginmedia Also not even near the fastest speeds. Hyperoptic have 1gb packages and are symmetrical. What you get down you also get up. I pay for 350mbs but lucky to get 200 most days. Whilst the upload is 34mbs. Hardly worth the 33% rise is it?

So very disappointing that @Hyperoptic can't provide a 7-day engineer service to mend our severed fibre cable and can't even tell us when we might have Internet restored next week. Will seriously disrupt our work schedule. I'm sure competitors would do a lot better

@Hyperoptic What’s the usual waiting time between you installing your infrastructure on a telegraph pole and the service being available to order? There are cables looped up and taped to the pole by my house which were added in December but no update since then. Thanks

Upgraded my 150Mbps broadband to 1Gbps broadband. Thank you @Hyperoptic for the quick service. Came a long way from 100kbps days to 1Gbps. I am waiting for the day when WiFi routers are able to support full 1Gbps. Currently, one would get somewhere between 400-700Mbps over WiFi.

@journey_ev @Hyperoptic @premnsikka Current issue is not length but an inflation linked price rise. This appeared shortly after regulator rubber stamped an inflation based formula for wholesale prices of largest retailers in 2021.

@EE I quite agree with the CEO @Hyperoptic re mid-contract price hikes - “Price increases should be linked to increased value, not just forced upon people who rely on your service and can’t leave without paying a penalty." I know you'll say it's in the contract - but is it fair?

@Hyperoptic Noboy sign-up with this useless company. Internet outages since before Christmas that continue for several days. Unreliable service and terrible escalations or lack there of via complaints and first-line support.
