@Hyperoptic Hi, there appears to be an issue with Hyperoptic users connecting to the PlayStation network. This has been all day. I think the issue is with Hyperoptic because I can login to my account via 5G but not when connected to Hyperoptic. Could you please investigate?

@Zero_RVL @MarcBurrage @nintendolife Non gamers presumably… Just checked the link and it’s to HyperOptic, which is a broadband company I’ve never heard of. I think it’s a bit dodgy that Nintendo Life have published the article based on the above…Paid promo, without them saying so perhaps?

@RichardNeil13 @jnightda1 @AskPS_UK I've used their Live Chat and they said it was a global PSN issue but I doubt it tbh. Everyone I've spoken to on here says it's Hyperoptic so it's surely them?

@Piskopat54Yazar @firaskamal @AskPS_UK Don't suppose you've had any more luck with this? Me and my flatmate are unable to launch FFXIV's launcher on PC or Windows Updates without tethering to our phones, so seems like a Hyperoptic problem?

@DoubleDstroyer @virginmedia I'm with virgin and honestly don't ever get a problem with them, but then again I don't stream much... Can you get @Hyperoptic in your area?

@HyperopticCS @ChppIl While I'm sure you have to say this, it's unfortunately highly likely that the problem is with @Hyperoptic. Most people have attempted tethering with phones and it works fine. Perhaps a little more investigation is needed your end.

@HyperopticCS @PancakePete00 Look at Twitter, the only PS users facing this issue are those who have hyperoptic broadband, its obvs your issue.

@Zomia64 @nintendolife It’s not news though. It’s a survey from a site that sells broadband (HyperOptic, & no - I’ve never heard of them either) Find it pretty suspicious that NL have published this; paid promo without the site mentioning it perhaps?
