@Hyperoptic Hiya. Anything going on in Glasgow G5. Service outage. Can't get you online. Raised tickets. Nothing? Thanks

  • samb1729 Sam B (@samb1729) reported

It's been 18 hours since I last had a functioning @virginmedia internet connection. Third total outage in a week. @Hyperoptic I'm begging you to come take their business

  • ldoyle86 Laura (@ldoyle86) reported

@Hyperoptic really disappointed with customer service received - been a customer since 2017 and need to cancel due to moving house (you don't supply the new property). Being told I can't cancel for 30 days despite not being in contract! Last thing I need with a stressful move.

@Swindyyyy @virginmedia We only got @CommunityFibre access this year after waiting for years for G Network and Hyperoptic delaying over and over. And it's been a genuine night and day difference. The random DNS dropouts and widespread issues are over.

@virginmedia absolute *****. upgraded to you from hyperoptic to get 1gb/a speeds from 500mb/s 2 weeks ago and it’s been down 4 days since i’ve joined.

  • jeffsprogress Schadenfreude (@jeffsprogress) reported

Hi @virginmedia I’ve had your broadband now for 18 years. It’s been down for 30 hours now and your inept staff can’t find my account, but you keep sending me service updates. Please get a bloody grip. @Hyperoptic is looking pretty good right now.

  • etsKi_ etsKi (@etsKi_) reported

@Pijinnn_ nah they dont pay if you cancel, the deal is you sign up with them after your contract ends and theyll give you free internet till it ends. I know my mate is on month 5 of free hyperoptic internet, and as someone that used it for 5 years in glasgow, it never went down once!

  • AmieWri76009776 Amie Wright (@AmieWri76009776) reported

@Hyperoptic development wide internet issue you won't acknowledge. Engineer today quoted "at least you have internet". Appalling customer service! We pay for 1gb and are getting 30mb! #sortitout #appallingcustomerservice #hyperoptic

  • boynamednaz N. (@boynamednaz) reported

@Burnzyyyyyy @Hyperoptic Strap in. I’ve been waiting for over a month for installation and each week it’s ‘we promise it’ll be next week’ to ‘sorry we couldn’t set it up again’. Don’t leave it too late to raise a complaint as the customer service team get ignored by field teams and not worth chasing up.

  • suddenlyjoseph Joseph Martin (@suddenlyjoseph) reported

Alright gays - what Virgin alternative fibre only, no phone line required, internet service providers can I look at with comparable speeds pls? Community Fibre and Hyperoptic aren’t in my area yet. Currently supposed to get gigabit speeds…
