@tony_j_hunter @VirginMediaIE @Hyperoptic Yeah, but apparently you can just sign up again, and then cancel your other account to get the new deal It's so dumb, but that's what they told me to do

@Hyperoptic I tried. Hyperoptic failed on set up so I had to cancel and now won't install because that installation is not complete. All I'm getting are "Computer says no" type answers.

@searchbrat @VirginMediaIE Same experience here, albeit even more expensive for my package. Terrible customer experience every time I communicate with them. I only stay with them because they're the fastest fibre in my area. Looking forward to the day I can switch to @Hyperoptic!

@Hyperoptic having such a difficult time moving to you! Your map says we’re eligible, we’ve had sales leaflets through the door, but it’s impossible to sign up - and we’ve had conflicting responses from customer service. 1/2

@nt00444 @Hyperoptic (cont.) your due compensation for the downtime of your service paid out to you in a form of a refund even if you were to cancel the service with us.

@WhichUK No, my broadband provider (@Hyperoptic) are brilliant and guarantee a fixed price for the whole term of each (2 year) contract. They even allow existing customers to take up new-customer offers mid-contract (subject to a new 2 year contract). Recommended.
