@IBKR I guess I'm just not as smart as the folks running this trading platform. I mean, I get the margin requirement for shorting a stock, (and 300% probably wouldn't help a lot of people who shorted $GME) but can they explain the requirement for margin for a long position?

@LadeBackk @IBKR Welcome brother! I am using IBKR and it is not bad. For you in the US you can use the mobile app commission free if I am not mistaken - IBKR Lite. For me is only Pro - I pay commission
