  @mcuban @RobinhoodApp @IBKR When people are short, they have to buy more stock (but there is asymmetric demand-not much selling) which creates more of a problem bc they can’t use the stocks from delta hedging to “loan out” in case the underlying calls strike 2/

  @TeminatorTrader @IBKR Yep. I realized Robinhood was a bad brokerage a while ago but now other firms like Interactive Brokers are restricting trading on volatile options. How hard is it for them to do their job and provide liquidity in all market environments.

  @yhawaiikai @MutinyMongo @IBKR That's plain wrong. Margin requirements make sense, but restricting purchases where your max loss is the amount you invested (so the broker cannot get in trouble) is nothing but sheer manipulation.

Central banks and the fed have rigged the game to force asset prices up at every opportunity until it forces up the wrong asset and now all of a sudden it’s shut down to help themselves out.

  @mcuban @RobinhoodApp @IBKR Drive the prices down so they can cover their short positions at lowest possible cost. The class-action lawsuits will be less than the cost of covering at full market value. They've done the math, know there won't be any real action taken by SEC or other regulators.

  Bought some $GME, $AMC, $NOK right now on the Flatex platform that still allows buying these. Filed a complaint at @ibkr for interfering with my trades and manipulating the free market.

  @mcuban @RobinhoodApp @IBKR This was a multi billion dollar fraud committed against retail investors. Hedge funds don't want to payout their losing bet so they shut down trading. They figurer that the lawsuits and payouts will be less than what it would cost to cover their short positions.

  @TeminatorTrader @IBKR I got error message buying an option on IBKR that “Instrument is limited to closing trades only” yet was then able to go to Fidelity and TD Ameritrade and purchase the same instrument. So we have unequal access to markets right now.

  @BBailey320 @IBKR Even giant TD securities were down for an hour this morning. They said they might restrict trading in $GME at anytime to preserve liquidity in other names

  @ErnestWongBWM When I talked with @IBKR support they said it was an SEC order. But maybe optional bc something like GME can be bot on fidelity platform.
