@IBKR To anyone reading this thread. I think I found a new company worth shorting. It's a financial services firm that just pissed off THOUSANDS of clients just a day after shutting down due to volume. Ticker is IBKR. I'm betting this quarter's earnings will be way down.

@IBKR so your opinion is that it is bad for independent traders to stand up and fight with their money against institutional investors who short stocks, but it is perfectly fine for institutions to borrow 150% of the float hoping to make a killing by taking OUR money.

@Bernat_Huguet @IBKR It still makes no sense to me that I need 100% margin on a long position. I have a cash account and when I tried to buy some it said I needed to switch to a margin account. Why? If I wanna burn my own cash doing stupid buys that's up to me.
