  @Sanji_vals @IBKR You can use the second 2Auth with an authenticator app from google or microsoft. Just make sure to connect them with cloud. If you loose your phone, download the app on the new one and login wirh authenticator app. Its really annoying to contact support, which is so difficult.

  @IGcom @Therichardralph @IBKR Says the company whose platform is down at a crucial time of day as market opens in US. I would suggest looking at ii - they are a quality operation unlike IG. IG will just disappoint.

  @IBKR I did that and out of frustration I have written here as they are asking to use my passport when passport is not in one of the options offered for Australia clearly documented in the ticket and screenshot I submitted. They only offer Australian drivers license and then on submission call id type invalid. The tech team on a call just mentions to try again rather than solving the issue and a musical chair game is going on between support and tech folks.

  @optionsbbq @tastytrade @IBKR For options, Ibkr mobile app is much better than the desktop options they offer imo, but the desktop apps may have improved in recent iterations (they were way too slow and clunky before)

  This morning, Interactive Brokers support emailed me saying I executed a huge FX trade... Obviously, I was freaked out! So I called institutional support and they said the support agent that emailed me was incorrect. Thanks for the heart attack @IBKR!

  @IBKR Yeah this pump's transparent as **** no hidden fees just straight pressure. That's why barely any callback like I posted, Sol guys squeezing it clean. Chinese holders mostly jumped mid way though.

  @IBKR @Polymarket The score is now: IBKR 1, Me 0. First I went to AI to resolve my problem, and then tech support. They sent me to read some article that i couldn't see. I was going to send support a screen shot of what I saw when i clicked on the article link, but there support chat had a bug and the upload didn't work! You can't make this stuff up. In the end support told me to come back tomorrow and try.

  @IBKR Worst broker for trading small caps on the planet. They will lock you from exiting your position whenever they feel like it and you will lose 5-10x more before the cap is lifted.

  If a broker, @IBKR in this case, say you can only reduce risk (due to Kospi issues apparently, more likely they have run out of margin), but in actual fact they wont let you trade a product you have a position in at all, are they liable for any ensuing losses ?

  @IBKR No I'm moving to another brokerage. It's 2026 I'm not submitting web tickets when I'm trading $100k positions. You guys can pick up a phone like every other normal brokerage. Take some tips from Schwab and you guys need better customer service, app UX and really everything.

  @IBKR placing surveys within the trading application that interfere, even for 5 seconds, with my ability to conduct business, is a sure fire way to royally piss off a customer. These surveys are out of control.

  @MazFuryCabbage @IBKR You have to go to settings and get permission to trade US stocks and make fx transactions. I opened a USD account as well. You need to use the help function, it's a complex platform.
