    @IBKR I find myself having to shut down and restart Traders Workstation twice a day. It is slow and a pain in the ***. I truly have had a terrible experience at IB. Good luck trying to talk to an actual person to get any type of support.

    @ALBACapMgmt @IBKR Hi I don’t know anything about IBKR…But I have found this comment from Gemini pro 3.1. It might help, who knows: “If all else fails, many traders create a dedicated "Custom View" in the Option Chain (gear icon -> *Settings* -> *Column Management* -> *Custom Views*)

    I have to switch brokers @IBKR has some serious issues with their app. It's like 10x slower than any other brokerage to navigate to trade. Then stop limits don't even work on stocks with a penny spread it's bizarre

    @IBKR Your charts are freezing and I am in the middle of a trade. Your software is truly the worst around. Absolute garbage. Anyone not using IB that wants to consider it should runaway. Terrible custmer service and software that acts and feels like it is from the early ninties.

    @NBee007 @IBKR Disaster trying to login through the Website Portal on a Lap Top, only to be directed to the Cell APP, then back to the Portal for another type of Code, a SMS Code, a Challenge Code, then to a page on the Lap top Website to scan a code on your phone app (why when I am logging in on my laptop??), then over here, then there, then 2 hours is gone and still cannot login. Cannot submit a request for help unless you can login. Try calling? Cannot understand what the person is saying. Pathetic Platforms. Then, as Ten Beers has observed, you get a Canned Response in "X".

    I lost about $5k yesterday due to liquidation. I tried moving $5k to @IBKR, but it failed despite having cash in my checking account. I don’t blame anyone; this is part of the game. Losing $5k after locking in $65k gains last month is insignificant. I always ensure I have enough buying power and SMA. My mistake was opening a large $HIVE.NE short put that eroded most of my buying power as collateral. Even though it will only use half of that collateral for margin maintenance, it used full cost as requirement until assignment. Was it risky? Maybe I was set to lock in $5k from that play yesterday if the price didn’t drop. The lesson is to avoid selling short puts that erode buying power. Buying shares is better on margin. Next week, I’ll have more buying power to buy back $EOSE, average down on $HIVE, and buy $KEEL (hopefully below $5 when Asia gets crushed Sunday and overnight due to leverage). I optimized my tax lot for $EOSE to ensure as part of that liquidation, it took out shares that had gains instead of FiFO or LILO. This way I work around wash sale if I buy back shares within the next 30 days.

    @ChizaramNelo @IBKR Most day traders lose money. I don't want to be in that group. So I'm more of a swing trader - taking my time and watching for trends and opportunities. They should really teach this stuff in school, but teachers themselves are typically very bad with money anyway.

    @IBKR Hello, I have already completed all requested tasks, uploaded documents, updated my financial profile, completed MiFIR and tax information, and funded my account. However, I am still unable to receive the trading permissions I requested, and I keep receiving only automated responses without a clear explanation or solution. I respectfully ask for a proper manual review of my account by a specialist and clear guidance on exactly what needs to be changed or updated for approval. I have spent a significant amount of time trying to resolve this issue, and if this cannot be resolved properly, I may consider withdrawing my funds and using another broker platform instead. Please review my account carefully and assist me with a real solution. Thank you.

    I recently opened an IBKR Darwin account @IBKR @Darwinexchange - i was told the process would take 1 day I got my approval and tried to access the services but hit with “ineligible” to add funds. Darwin have told me it’s in IBKR’s hands and they cannot help me. It’s been 10 days now and nobody can help me. Pretty shocking experience so far

    @IBKR @bclund Login to IBK - nothing but problems when using Portal for the Lap Top. Requires ID, Password, then an SMS Code (which always worked_ but now takes you to a page that requires scanning a QR Code on your phone using the phone APP. Nothing but HELL. Missed trades, timed put while trying to update information, and on and on. Tried talking to HELP but could not even understand the individual claiming to speak English (no offence to the person). If you cannot communicate, then what is the purpose of HELP? So now logging in through PORTAL requires both the lap top and a cell phone APP to use the lap top. RE: Response from IBCS at 24-Jul-2025 Dear Mr. ______, This is a follow up to our conversation from earlier today. Your request has been approved and your account can continue to use SMS text as the two factor authentication method. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Once I get to sell out of the shares I have through IBK I am gone!!

    @IBKR So you guys are playing accounts liquidation, customers cannot transfer money between own accounts in order to cover margins, since transfer page is not working. I am going to fill a complain to CBI

    c'mon .@IBKR .... $ARLP went ex-*** on 60 cents today it closed at $25.55 yesterday and being at $25.10 today is green 15 cents , not red 45 cents Bloomberg also saying same error fix ya crappy systems

    @DrakeMEMENah @nakedjockman @IBKR I don't believe retails only own 58.99% of the float, it's inferred from self-reported tute data. Brokers never report retail $AMC holdings which allows ongoing fraud. IBKR Robinhood & other platforms continue to loan retail shares (that's part of the problem).

    There are hundreds of incredibly annoxing things about @IBKR TWS but the worst is that you always have to add implied vols to option chains and watchlists because they dont save. Anyone found a way round this ? 🙏

    @IBKR How do I get a human tech support person on the line? I specifically wanted help with an issue because the iBot information is not helping at all, but all I get from support is more copy paste AI answers and they keep closing my ticket without even reading my question.

    @stan100x @IBKR Why do you think a different brokerage will help with this? Anyway try out tastytrade, they have lower fees at least
