@IBKR The part that is really frustrating is that I have other accounts with TD Ameritrade and Fidelity. I can get excellent service almost any time I need it. These are your competitors - IB should learn by these examples and not just apologize and do nothing to improve.

@IBKR LOL! Theaters just broke $2 billion on Avatar 2, and had a kick *** 2022 in general and these hacks bad mouth retail traders citing they are more sophisticated. Fact is, they have no brand loyalty, sellout scumbags. Must be short #amc $amc otherwise why would they care?

@Noah_G_TRD @IBKR Yea its a pretty bad experience.Especially when I open a ticket 2 weeks or so prior to fix the exp date and go through back and forth and escalations.. and they still don’t fix it before “expiration”. Happened on 2 separate securities to me this week. Few thousand$ into the abyss

@Austin_Federa @PythNetwork I like using Pyth to check on crypto prices much more than loading up some sort of slow exchange UX. @IBKR As a long-time customer trading on your platform, I'd love to see Pyth integration with TWS to provide customers with free real-time "good enough" market data.

@IBKR The problem with you guys is: 1. it's hard to find stocks to short sell. 2. In the OTC market you have a limit of max. 500k. Why? Since one order costs $7.50, sometimes you have to make 10 orders to complete your positions. 3. Your chart under TWS is totally outdated.

@OddDiligence @IBKR ClearStreet talked up specializing in SPACs so CenterPoint might be good, probably catch a bunch of per issue fees though. For recurring issues, put the ticket to attention of the rep that solved your problem before and you can circumvent their "customer is wrong" attitude.

@IBKR I've adopted IBKR cause the minimum to trade was low, something like 2k USD. But it happens that I'm loosing this rally cause a restriction of 25k necessary to trade. I have 19.5k and can do nothing!!😡 During almost a year I had no problem with the min amount. Can Help please?

@TwainsMustache @CharlesSchwab @IBKR IBKR has impressed me. While people don’t like it due to it not being a new and flashy design (a la Robinhood), it it fundamentally great and continues to improve. My big gripe with IBKR is the customer support which is an absolute pain if you need to resolve something.

@HoK4ge7 No one is saying it's bad, I'm just sharing my observations. For example, besides Forex I also trade on the stock market thanks to @IBKR but they never offered me to advertise them. (Probably because normal brokers do not need advertising) 🙃

@IBKR FYI: I sent in two 'Secure Message' tickets on 01/13 - specifically about this issue and frequent lock-ups. One cost me $250 as I had to reboot. It took your CS department 4 days to respond - with a standard canned message about TWS versions. U have, terrible customer service.

@IBKR Have had many other issues with @IBKR CS, not just warrant related. But each warrant to fix requires them first telling me I'm wrong, and then back and forth for a few weeks.

@IBKR There are things you do well - this is an example. Too bad your overall customer service experiences are totally underwhelming. A fish rots from the head down - your Support Organization is obviously run by folks who are okay with your "metrics" - that is a shame.

@OddDiligence @IBKR Wow gotcha, yea that’s awful. Luckily I was never caught in one of those cases and have seen them update expirations upon merger close. Just assumed they handled it like a place holder and wouldn’t have expected liquidation like that.
