  This morning, Interactive Brokers support emailed me saying I executed a huge FX trade... Obviously, I was freaked out! So I called institutional support and they said the support agent that emailed me was incorrect. Thanks for the heart attack @IBKR!

  @Sanji_vals @IBKR You can use the second 2Auth with an authenticator app from google or microsoft. Just make sure to connect them with cloud. If you loose your phone, download the app on the new one and login wirh authenticator app. Its really annoying to contact support, which is so difficult.

  @CoreyCicero @TT_stocks_ @IBKR No it isn’t- I tried that. It’s free IF you only trade market hours- anything PM OR AH is 1% fees. Not to mention when I went to pull my money out they made me send my ID AND a video of me holding up my passport saying who I was lmao. Again worst broker I’ve ever had and I’ve had every single one

  I have never had a such a bad experience setting up a new brokage account @IBKR I fund it I choose the light plan but they give them the Pro plan that include commissions. So all my test trades pulled commissions today. I tried to enable trading for leveraged etfs they denied me won't say why, so i get to wait another 30 days to try again. Man if i had any other choice i would just withdraw the money move on but i don't.

  If a broker, @IBKR in this case, say you can only reduce risk (due to Kospi issues apparently, more likely they have run out of margin), but in actual fact they wont let you trade a product you have a position in at all, are they liable for any ensuing losses ?

  @Therichardralph @IBKR The interface isn't great not unlike IBKR but you seem ok with it. Decent control as you have with IBKR, selling lots, in app charts. Execution is good. Fx is currently 0.49% so that is a drawback and too high for me. There is a dumbed down app for basic use.

  @IBKR Worst broker for trading small caps on the planet. They will lock you from exiting your position whenever they feel like it and you will lose 5-10x more before the cap is lifted.

  IBKR has made me lose so much money it's gross. Can't sell covered calls on positions I own? Why? I'm in a margin account with positive SMA etc?!? @IBKR no help from the trade desk and as of yesterday a senior trade desk rep didn't even know your own margin rules.
