  @IBKR 24 hour access sounds like edge until you price 3 things: carry, margin calls, and overnight gaps. More table hours only help if your read survives the next open.

  Just over a year since I switched to @IBKR and went all in on growth stocks... Portfolio is ahead of the S&P 500 by $23,273. That's 11.72% outperformance. Ahead of the NASDAQ 100 by $9,283. 4.37% outperformance. Beating both major indices with 9 stocks and a system. A year ago people told me I was mad... Too concentrated, too risky - Should just buy an index fund and forget about it. Well the index fund would have made me $23k less. That's a car, That's a holiday, That's months of deposits into the portfolio. I'm doing it with fewer stocks, less complexity, Less stress. Quality companies the world can't function without... I'm not Against Index funds but most people think single stocks are risky.... Mixture of both would work well for majority of people in my opinion. Sometimes the "risky" approach is actually the smart one. How's your portfolio doing??

  @IBKR amazing trade terminal and fundamentals explorer! loving IB TWS, but if you lose you phone, the only way to restore your access to your account is to call them via phone and verify. no other options. customer support chat is only available for someone who logged in but you can't do that if your phone is stolen. they could have verified clients via google meet or Skype, but no, you have to call directly.

  @IBKR I have recently opened an account with you. I simply do not receive security code over text or phone call. Therefore, cannot login. Whenever I try calling your support helpline, it always says it is busy and I never get an agent on call. Pathetic service. #ibkr

  @IBKR @bclund Login to IBK - nothing but problems when using Portal for the Lap Top. Requires ID, Password, then an SMS Code (which always worked_ but now takes you to a page that requires scanning a QR Code on your phone using the phone APP. Nothing but HELL. Missed trades, timed put while trying to update information, and on and on. Tried talking to HELP but could not even understand the individual claiming to speak English (no offence to the person). If you cannot communicate, then what is the purpose of HELP? So now logging in through PORTAL requires both the lap top and a cell phone APP to use the lap top. RE: Response from IBCS at 24-Jul-2025 Dear Mr. ______, This is a follow up to our conversation from earlier today. Your request has been approved and your account can continue to use SMS text as the two factor authentication method. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Kind regards, Michael M IBKR Client Services ****The result was it never worked, still doesn't, and have to use TWO pieces of hardware and two different software. Once I get to sell out of the shares I have through IBK I am gone!!
