Why are users not compensated for their capital contributions on these platforms?

  @stocktalkweekly @IBKR Like/OK: order execution faster, but had trouble lately. Dislike: UI. Also it put restriction on $GME $AMC (certainly not trading them) which I didn't like. Whether it's a liquity or anything else, if a stock is offered by a broker, it should be tradable without restriction.

Retail investors need to understand publically the way brokers make their many streams of income including sorting investors by profitable/unprofitable.   @stocktalkweekly @IBKR Using them for over 4 months now. Mobile platform terrible. Their desktop is good but takes getting used to. I don’t use margin, I just tried them because they had a good reputation then they pulled the Robinhood shenanigans.

  @GGG76778806 @IBKR If they do it purposely, it means IB is retarded. Monthly USD 10 can have better quality data. I have no idea why IB find GIS. Apart from data quality, IB should also upgrade its price updating speed. Updating the latest price every 250ms is very slow.

  @IBKR I am so dissatisfied with IBKR, they stepped outside their role and tried to play parent and govern me and my adult choices. I really hope somebody comes up with a new unique style platform it's available in Canada that is not corruptible by terrible choices made by management.

  @stocktalkweekly @IBKR I just apply for it today. Did have to wait a whole day due to system maintenance. Will be switching from robinhood..mostly wanting the 4am PM window, Webull just not user friendly to me. Td is my main. the lowest margin/international trading ability is also appealing

  @mcuban @RobinhoodApp @IBKR Stocks go up and down everyday. It is the risk of the investor to decide when to trade and personally know the risks associated with each investment. GME may go to 1000+ or back to 10, but the timeframe needs to be determined by free market supply/demand. Just like SPACs now

  @MebFaber @IBKR @Vanguard_Group Agree with the spirit of the ideas here but in a structure like this shouldn’t we expect trade commissions to come back, which hurts smaller and more active traders/investors. You can shift the investor from “product” back to “customer”, but then they have to pay
