    @orrdavid @IBKR That’s sad to hear. They got really big and started to ignore their customers. Read a few bad stories from people about poor experiences from amateur investors about them.

    @gruust @IBKR Having the exact same issue. I sent a ticket to IB, chat was not working and right now there is maintenance scheduled on account management. So, it's surely some bug or maintenance issue.

    @Anonymous7902 @IBKR They're kind of trying to do the right thing. They gave me access to special support once I got big enough. But that team needs more power to override the system, especially in spots where it makes no sense not to. $IBKR shouldn't try to automate everything for big customers.

    @The_scanner_man @Dystopia2100 @IBKR it's not that hard. just need to know where to look. Bundesbank in Germany requires monthly reports re cross-border payments. I wish gov'ts would support some open-source standards because IB lets you export some (probably) widely used formats...

    @goodbye17171717 @IBKR As I was saying the other day, their content is quite overwhelming, and not always in a good way. It is all so painstakingly detailed that it can hinder trading. There's still a few products on TradingView that I have no permissions to trade, but I haven't tried to fix that yet.

    @orrdavid @IBKR the key to a deep moat is not that you please customers but that you piss off customers but they do not leave. methinks you are about to go thru the same process many others have (including myself) and end up back at IB. But I hope I am wrong and you share the better solution.

    @IBKR How about what inconvenient for us? Forcing your clients who use automated systems to authenticate and trade algos to use your cumbersome 2 factor auth without consideration only to cost us thousands of dollars to move away from your awful service #stayaway #fail

    @orrdavid @IBKR Alternatives are all bad in their own way and you'll probably end up staying at @IBKR. Dash Prime for any account size and you're ok with Apex but you need an EMS. Clear Street and StoneX both have lower touch prime offerings if you're in an LLC but cost more.

    I'm ready to upgrade brokers. Can anyone suggest a good one for a high gross leverage investor - fair short borrow costs and rebates? @IBKR's rigid and terrible support has pissed me off one time too many. They are just so shockingly bad.

    @orrdavid @IBKR I am going to start an IB customer support group. My fave story is I was supposed to be part of a DE Appraisal Rights dissenting shareholder group, but IB sent the docs too late, and I got kicked out. I did everything on my end in a timely and correct fashion. IB: too bad

    @IBKR Never ever open account or trade with those clowns, we have been with them for many years and never had a month with no issues, more remarkably a few weeks ago they enforced their cumbersome 2 factor authentication on all accounts disregarding automated trading or clients needs..

    @IBKR ..After numerous attempts to ask for an exclusion offering to sign waivers to take responsibility of opting out they are still refusing to do so, their customer support is awful and incompetent, we are more than happy to share details of our experience with those trading amateurs

    @orrdavid @IBKR a lot of questions like AUM, structure (PA vs SMA vs Fund), what mkts do they trade, how often do they trade, do they short?, etc. And most importantly, where did they go? I'd love to find a better solution because IB is horrible.
