@CoreyCicero @TT_stocks_ @IBKR No it isn’t- I tried that. It’s free IF you only trade market hours- anything PM OR AH is 1% fees. Not to mention when I went to pull my money out they made me send my ID AND a video of me holding up my passport saying who I was lmao. Again worst broker I’ve ever had and I’ve had every single one

@Therichardralph @IBKR The FX fees are higher than T212 and the interest paid on cash is less but it works well. I pay £5.99 per month to bring the FX fees down a bit.

@IBKR I’ve been a customer for 10 years. I’m quitting it n moving my pot over to another broker. Customer service sucks, they move your funds without your consent and are not forthcoming with the reasons for doing so

@jeremiahrogers @IBKR is horrible and their customer service absolutely sucks! Tried them and couldn’t wait to get my funds out - which they held for a stupid amount of time.

@SquawkStreet @IBKR It's impossible to contact IBXR support: 1(877)442-2757, it doesn't work. I can only hope that the issue they fabricated to keep my $3464.85 cash will be returned to me someday. U25159972

@TT_stocks_ Right on! Looking to switch from @IBKR to @WebullGlobal How are you finding the change. IBKR is terrible these days.

  • D3GSolutions
    Brandon (@D3GSolutions) reported

Dear @IBKR it's 2026 and you need to update and do some serious work to your IBKR mobile app for people who actively trade. When I call in people act as if nobody even uses it which isn't true. Get that thing like TWS and give TOS a run for its damn money.

@IBKR @Paysafe my account is locked out, tried calling and it hangs up, tried email and fails, tried to create a support ticket but you have to login to create one, need help, worst support ever.

@NickSchmidt Don't know about shitcoins. But for securities, there’s no comparison between HOOD and @IBKR on execution quality. I moved everything to IBKR a few years ago and never looked back.

  • its_fundamental
fundamentally its a bargain (@its_fundamental) reported

@IGcom @Therichardralph @IBKR Says the company whose platform is down at a crucial time of day as market opens in US. I would suggest looking at ii - they are a quality operation unlike IG. IG will just disappoint.

  • NotYoungBuck
    Count_Drewkoo (@NotYoungBuck) reported

@WebullGlobal < @IBKR Trying to track real-time market structure or apply quantitative modeling is impossible when the platform holds the data hostage. Here is exactly what is happening under the hood. How Your Location Determines Routing: Your residential address dictates your backend routing. Because you aren't in New York, Webull actually routes your crypto execution and custody through Coinbase, not Bakkt.Bakkt (which holds a specific virtual currency license from the New York State Department of Financial Services) is used almost exclusively for residents of New York, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands. Your chart and watchlist discrepancies are being pulled directly from Coinbase's liquidity pool, not a New York firm. The 4-Hour Candle Bottleneck: You cannot properly scalp momentum if the chart refuses to paint the current price action.Webull's charting software is designed for retail bandwidth efficiency, not professional-grade tick data. On higher timeframes like the 4-hour, the platform often relies on server-side OHLC (Open, High, Low, Close) snapshots. Instead of pushing live, tick-by-tick data to build the active candle dynamically, the UI saves processing power by waiting until the 4-hour interval officially closes before rendering the final candle. It completely breaks any real-time structural analysis. Does IBKR Have This Issue? No. Interactive Brokers is built for direct market access, and their Trader Workstation (TWS) streams data differently.Dynamic Charting: TWS streams professional-grade tick data across all timeframes. Your 4-hour candle will build, wick, and fluctuate dynamically in real-time. Different Routing: IBKR does not use Coinbase or Bakkt. They route crypto execution through Paxos Trust Company and Zero Hash. Transparent Pricing: Instead of baking a wide spread into the price, IBKR charges a flat 0.12% to 0.18% commission with no hidden markups. Transitioning your active trading operations to a direct-access broker with an integrated data streaming hub will immediately solve these retail-level UI bottlenecks

@IBKR I did that and out of frustration I have written here as they are asking to use my passport when passport is not in one of the options offered for Australia clearly documented in the ticket and screenshot I submitted. They only offer Australian drivers license and then on submission call id type invalid. The tech team on a call just mentions to try again rather than solving the issue and a musical chair game is going on between support and tech folks.
