JT Gert (@the1Gert) reported@MichaelENewton1 @nottatowl @IBKR Same issue, fixed it by going into settings->trading permissions ->edit and then switch permission on for something that wasn't previously selected. Solved it for me right away.

TrendTrader (@TrendTrader_US) reported@IBKR I’ve called & ask for the permission, & there is no follow through. These are things I can trade in my other brokerage accounts. If you don’t fix this problem, so your customers CAN’T trade oil via $USO or $BNO, particularly in light of Iran war, you are going to lose customers.

Heaven forbid they actually get a foot up if they don't have a small fortune to use. What's wrong with knocking in 50 to $30 the minimum?

I deem this unacceptable for a platform to cancel stop orders and can not remain a customer there with any confidence Does anyone have a good broker/platform recommendation that offers access to everything?
